Introducing the MPx 3.0" Side Exit Exhaust System for the 03-05 Neon SRT-4. If you're looking for an aggressive sounding exhaust, you've found it!

Instead of using a rear exit exhaust, we've designed an exhaust that exits on the driver's side of the vehicle, just in front of the rear wheel. This provides the shortest path for the exhaust to exit, thereby increasing throttle response and power.

We've seen a lot of side exit exhausts in the past, but they always seemed poorly executed. They were angled down to clear the side skirts, or wobbled due to poor hangers. We made sure to eliminate those problems by doing the following:

  • The industry's first notched side exit exhaust gets the exhaust tip very close to the side skirt, but provides plenty of clearance so the exhaust won't contact your side rails or side skirts.
    This notch does NOT restrict power. We gained a solid 11 HP over the previous 2.5" exhaust our test car had on it!
  • We provide a hanger system, rubber hanger, and hardware to prevent the exhaust from rocking back and forth.

  • Additional O2 Sensor Bung for use with an Air / Fuel Ratio Gauge. Please note, this custom service may require an additional 2-3 days.

      This exhaust kit will bolt onto the factory turbo and o2 housing, as well as any bigger turbo kit that has a o2 housing with 4 bolt flange like the factory o2 housing.

      The stock downpipe will not work with the MPx side exit exhaust. You need to use a MPx downpipe with or without cat for this exhaust to mount onto your Neon SRT4.

    Can i install this exhaust having the stock turbo? Will i gain or lose power? I was told that if i installed this exhaust i would just lose power with the stock turbo. but i thought if i installed this i would gain power.

      Turbocharged engines work best with the least amount of back pressure. With this exhaust installed you'll be fine even with a stock turbo, dont worry.

      If you have a stock pcm, then yes you'll get a check engine light for no cat. If you have ANY aftermarket pcm flash, or replacement pcm you wont have a check engine light.

      There is really no way to answer this as we have no idea how much you are going to lower your car. If you lower your car 1.5-2 inches, you're probably going to be fine. If you lower your car 2.75 inches, you're definitely going to have problems.

      This package, the side exit exhaust with downpipe, replaces the entire SRT-4 exhaust from the o2 housing on the turbo on back. So, whatever you have now, this would replace it.

      Yes, the catalytic convertor is like a muffler for sound, and without a cat, its going to be louder. Yes, this exhaust will work great with the stock turbo.

    I have a diablosport intune. Will this throw a check engine light without the cat in it?

      If you have ANY tune installed (Mopar stage 1, 2, 3, Diablosport tune, etc, you will not have a check engine light without cat.

      This exhaust should not be used on a non turbo car, it will be obnoxiously loud. No it will not fit with a non turbo long tube header.
