GReddy Type FV Blow Off Valve BOV
Model Number: 601110-FV
The GReddy FV is the newest generation of blow off valve from GReddy and it has several new technological improvements over previous generations. Instead of older blow off valves that have a single diaphragm and spring, the GReddy FV has a floating design, with two separate springs, and it is not connected directly to the diaphragm.
Here is what this will do for you:
- The way the FV is designed, you get a really nice tight seal inside the valve at idle. This means air wont be blowing out of the valve at idle like some other valves.
- Because of floating design, the valve will shut closed faster after it opens, giving you a faster buildup of boost.
- The valve will open and close faster than previous generations of valves, eliminating a lot of flutter.
Also, the FV has a unique adjustable vacuum inlet port that can be swiveled around 360 degrees. This allows you to change the port angle for your vacuum line making it easier to install and setup.
Also maintained is a slimmer CNC outlet with discharge ports that draws surrounding air to amplify the blow-off sound.
The BOV FV uses the same mounting and outlet size and position as previous GReddy RZ and RS models, so replacing your older Greddy BOV with this one is a simple two bolt swap!
Note: You cannot mount this onto your vehicle unless you have a flange that will accept a GReddy blow off valve installed on your car. If you have a factory blow off valve on your car, and wish to install this, you'll need to get an uppipe with flange to mount this onto your car. Otherwise, it will not be able to be mounted onto your car.
