E85 has a tendency to gum up fuel components if left to sit for a while.


This item is being made to address the issue of fuel level sending unit contact circuits becoming fouled. These are made from brand new fuel level sending units and are then treated to be E85 proof.


This is a good item to install while replacing your fuel pump, and or if you are planning to run E85 in the future.


Please note, this sending unit is designed to work in OEM style pump canisters. If you use this in a aftermarket fuel pump canister, the fuel level readings in your instrument cluster may be inaccurate.
