Around 2024, AEM, which was one of the first companies to offer cold air intakes for the Neon SRT-4, started discontinuing different color options of their intake.
Ultimately, in 2025, the intake was discontinued completely by AEM.
We wanted to continue to offer a cold air intake for the 2003-2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 market, so we decided to make our own. Since the AEM intake produced the most power out of all air intakes we ever tested, we loosely based our intake off of the AEM design.
We just decided to A) offer it in a awesome black wrinkle coated finish, and B) unlike AEM, we would readily offer replacement parts for this intake but also make sure that these parts would fit older AEM intakes. For the first time in a long time, we are going to be offering replacement splash shields, silicone air intake elbows to mount to the turbo, replacement solenoid brackets, vibration dampers, rubber battery terminal pads and more.
This kit includes:
Two piece design for easier installation.
High flow, 3 inch, washable air filter
Heavy duty black wrinkle powdercoat
Splash shield to keep water and debris off the filter
Solenoid bracket
Heavy duty silicone couplers
All necessary hardware, vibration dampers, etc
