Since 1995, Chrysler has been using a plastic crossover cable end for their Neon/PT
shift cables (Shifter Side). Fast forward a few decades, and the plastic has hardened
and become brittle. These are known to break causing a no shift problem.
So, to have a reliable and innovative solution to this problem, we have designed and
developed a dual ball bearing billet aluminum crossover cable end with a new stainless
bolt, shims, and safety locking clip to keep your car on the road reliably for many
decades to come. These are the exact bearing cable ends we use on our newly
released MPx shifter cables.
Since the crossover arm only goes forward and backwards, we use two fully sealed and
lubricated ball bearings instead of a bushing, pressed into a billet aluminum body, to
deliver the smoothest, least friction, and most reliable and effortless shifting possible.
