When deleting the balance shaft assembly and blocking off the oil galley, some engine builders gut the balance shaft housing and bolt it back on with the OEM bolts. Some will leave the whole assembly off leaving the 4 bolt holes open.
To be able ditch the whole balance shaft assembly and/or fill the balance shaft assembly threads with the strongest bolts and washers in the industry, we have now put together an ARP bolt and washer balance shaft delete hardware kit. This kit will fasten the bedplate to the block through the balance shaft assembly holes, maintain the clamping force between the bedplate and block.
This kit comes with custom washers that will fill the void and spread the clamping force when the two balance shaft assembly dowel pins are removed from the bedplate. This kit will also fit most engines with strap kits.
-All of these ARP bolts, nuts, and washers are made in the USA.
