Modern Performance has created an installation sheet with detailed photo instructions, showing you exactly how to install these headlights and which wires need to be tapped into. No other vendor has taken the time to write up installation instructions for you. If you purchase these lights elsewhere, you'll be on your own for installation. Our photo installation guide is only available to customers who purchase these headlights from Modern Performance.

Headlight Features:

No cutting or soldering required for low and high beams.
Includes pre-installed H1 bulbs.
We have not tested these headlights with HID lighting kits.
These headlights come complete. Nothing, other than tools, needed for installation.
Installation should take 1-1.5 hours.

These headlights are for the 03-05 Neon & Neon SRT-4. They are available with either black or chrome housings.

The factory headlight harness connects perfectly with these headlights, and there are two wires for the LED turn signals, and two wires to connect for the halo rings. Wiring up the halo rings & LEDs is optional.

If you were to install the headlights as the they were designed, you'd wire the halo rings to come on with your parking lamps, and the LED turn signals to flash with your factory turn signals.

Installation is fairly simple. We recommend you have an 8mm socket and driver, wire strippers, electrical tape, and a soldering gun.

Standard H1 Bulbs Included. You may purchase Super White or Hyper Yellow Nokya bulbs separately if you wish.

My set-4 had the projector headlights but the side LED bulbs are shot. Where can I get replacements? Or what model/type are they? Thanks in advance!

My projector headlights don't come on all of a sudden. Is this a harness issue or once one bulb is shot the other stops working as well?

  Both sides work independently. If neither are coming on there is a problem with your factory wiring harness, or the relays, or multi use switch used to turn on the headlights.

  There are alignment screws on the back of the light that are used to aim the lights up/down and in/out.

I'd like to get brighter bulbs for these headlights. What part or model number will fit this housing, and should I worry about excessive heat given off by brighter bulbs?

  This headlight uses a H1 bulb. You can use higher wattage bulbs and hid kits but if the housing melts, or wiring melts we will not honor any warranty on these.

Is their an actual HID kit for these or will i have to piece one together? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have looked all over the internet to no avail.

  These headlights use a H1 headlight bulb. So, you'd get a H1 HID kit to use with these. Any H1 kit should work, you just choose your own wattage (we recommend low wattages (ie, less than 30 watts), your choice of color and then install them.

Are these headlights brighter than stock, hear from a few people that halos werent any good but i love the look of them.

  These are primarily used to change the look of the car, not to improve light output. If you want to improve the light output of your Neon SRT-4 you should look at the PIAA MPx driving light kit we have.

I would like to replace the bulbs at the top of the housing that are sort of yellow in color. Are those also an H1?

If I decide to put the CBD Carbon Fiber Eye lids on these headlights will the eye lid cover the upper blinder area?

  Eyelids will cover up a majority of the turn signal area of the V1 headlights. However, not all of it, will be covered, and other drivers can still see the flashing orange light from the turn signal.

If I get your lights, I am wanting to get a brighter light. If I do the rewire kit you guys offer when I do these, can I then use the 80w bulbs you guys offer for the H1? Will there be much of a difference if so?

  The headlight rewire is a very good modification that anyone that does lots of driving at night, or has higher wattage bulbs installed. This is due to the way to the headlight wiring is done, and its tendency to cause melted multi function (turn signal/headlight/foglight) switches. If you do the headlight rewire, you pull power directly from the battery and get a safer supply of power to the headlights. Also it can handle more power draw, and the headlight bulbs can then do a better job of lighting up the road!

If I get these headlights I would want to replace the high and low beams with LED bulbs. Will H1 LED bulbs fit in these headlights?

  These headlights use H1 bulbs. Customers have used all sorts of aftermarket bulbs in them, but we cannot guarantee fitment with whatever fancy bulb you have.
