the Mishimoto Dodge Neon SRT-4 Performance Intercooler is constructed with high-quality cast end tanks for improved airflow and increased durability.

This intercooler utilizes a (25.5 inch wide, 6 inch tall, 3.5 inch thick) large bar-and-plate core, which reduces intake temperatures by more than 15% while delivering 40% less pressure drop than the factory cooler. This extremely efficient intercooler is designed to function with all factory equipment, including the factory bumper crash bar, making this the perfect bolt-on upgrade for improving the efficiency of your charge air system. This design significantly reduces the effects of heat soak, which improves performance on the strip and the street. This intercooler requires no vehicle modification, yet it will support substantial boost pressure and horsepower.

These are available in Silver or Black, and will work with your stock or after market pressure piping.

      The Mishimoto direct fit uses a core nearly double the thickness of the factory intercooler core. It will work fantastic on a stock turbo with higher boost levels and on bigger turbo setups.

      Installing a larger intercooler doesnt give your car more power immediately, what it does is give you BACK power lost due to your current intercooler not dissipating heat well. Have another 10 psi of boost over factory levels? This will help nicely! Have a larger turbo than factory? This will help nicely!

    Hi, I'm wondering how the mishimoto dfic compares the agp dfic in terms of heat soak. Would the mishimoto be good for multiple runs on a big wheel stock e85 setup that might see 330hp @20-24psi?

      This intercooler is really perfect for stock turbo cars running under 20 psi of boost. If you have a big wheel stocker and are running 20-24 psi, your temps will be far higher, and you definitely should be looking at a larger intercooler, not a direct fit.

      No, definitely not. The end tanks have different angles for inlet and outlet on the GT Cruiser compared to the NSRT4.

      Mishimoto does not give a horsepower rating, however, with such a thick core, we think it should have no problem handling up to 450 HP.

      This will work with the factory intercooler piping, and all of the replacement piping (lower hard pipe, AGP uppipes, etc) we sell.

      We do not have exact measurements to compare this intercooler to stock, but we can tell you its roughly about 1.5 inches thicker, and that there are no clearance issues with the bumper.

    Is the hot side inlet oval like the factory/AGP/MPx or round? Seems like the oval/OE design would be a bit of an airflow restriction.

      The passenger side is oval to allow clearance around the AC compressor like the factory intercooler design. We do not see the oval being a restriction, especially when the intercooler is much larger/thicker than the OEM. Our experience with round passenger side inlet intercoolers is that you must chop a mounting ear off of the compressor for clearance, and use 3 of the 4 mounting holes, otherwise you'll have lots of rubbing/issues. So, using a round pass side can be a real hassle.
