AS most of you already know, we worked with BC to develop these. These will fit all models of 2013+ Darts!

First off, this is for a set of four complete strut/shocks and springs. These replace the complete strut/spring assemblies in the front, and they replace the shock/spring assemblies in the rear.

Now, if you want to improve the handling of your Dart so that it has less body roll in the corners, but also want to be able to adjust the height to your liking, you cant get anything better than a coilover set.

Coilovers allow you to adjust the height on every corner to your liking, and the BC coilovers have a 30 way adjustment that allows you to set the dampening to your liking as well. This means that you can set the ride feel to your liking, whether you want it more firm or soft is up to you!

These coilovers allow you to lower your Dart anywhere from .75 of an inch to as much as nearly 3 inches. You decide how much to lower your Dart by adjusting the coilovers.

    Can a camber kit be used with the coilovers?

      The camber kit goes on the control arm, not the coilover. So, yes, you can use camber kits with this coilover set.

    What is the maximum lowered height these can go. I want to slam my car but it sounds like these wont go as low as i want.

      These can lower your Dart by up to 2.50-2.75 inches.

    im having trouble deciding wether i want to bag my dart or do a coilover setup....can someone put in some insight..there is only like 300$ more for bagging but im looking for comfort as well...does anyone know which is a better ride?

      We dont know of anyone that has installed bags and had a trouble free experience. There is always some fitting, some line that leaks, or a solenoid that locks open, etc. There is ALWAYS problems.

      With coilovers, you dont have problems that leave you stranded. Plus, we have dialed in a spring rate that is slightly higher than factory for better handling, but the ride comfort is very good. Its not harsh! If you want better handling and good ride comfort you will be very happy.

    Are there any parts of the factory strut assembly that are reused with this kit? (Spring mounts isolators, strut bearing, etc )

      The front strut mounts are reused, front strut retainer clips and rotator bearings.

    Will coilovers void my warranty?

      Coilovers would only affect the warranty on the stock suspension you removed from the vehicle, they would not affect the rest of the operation of your Dart.

    We have a 2013 dart ralley 1.4l turbo.
    do these coilovers come with new alignment specs. we want to lower the car 1.5 inches or two at the most. Wondering how to realign the car after lowering it.

      There are OEM alignment bolts on the bottom control arms that allow you to adjust for alignment after you lower your Dart. In case you lower the car more than the factory alignment bolts allow adjustment for (about 2.00 inches) then you can use the Eibach alignment bolts that we offer.

    Are the cartridges replaceable/rebuildable?

      Yes, most definitely. If you ever need a single cartridge due to an accident, or a strut blowing out, replacements are available by calling BC's headquarters in Florida.

      There is no reason a set of coilovers wont last 3-5 years, maybe more. The only part that will wear out, the strut cartridge are easily replaced and available from BC, so if you ever need new parts, they are available and affordable.

    Are these spring a higher spring rate than those on the dart gt? As the gt has a higher rate than the other models

      The BC coilovers have higher spring rates than all production Darts, regardless of trim. So, it will be an improvement in handling, cornering and looks over every Dart OEM suspension.

    Does the pre load on the springs come automatically adjusted, or will I need to adjust the pre load myself?

      On the front strut assemblies there are three gold rings. The two on the top under the spring are the preload springs, and really should never be touched as they are factory preset. All you should every be adjusting is the lower ring, and then adjusting the coilover to change your Dart's height and then tightening.

      These do not come with camber plates, and BC does not offer any camber plates for the Dart.

    With the BC coilovers, can you maintain original ride height for daily driving? Or will they definitely lower the car by a certain amount even with max adjustment?

      You could have stock ride height, or close to it, but the whole purpose of having coilovers, is to lower the car, and to have control over the dampening of the suspension.

    Is there much of a ride quality difference between megan and bc coilovers? And do you need different end links what converting to coils? If so does kits come with them?

      The BC coilovers and Megan coilovers have the exact same spring rate. 7k front, 3k rear, or 385 ft lbs front and 165 rear. This means they will ride the same. The primary differences between the Megan and BC will be that the BC has a stronger construction, and has more replacement parts in stock than Megan. They are also 30 way vs Megan 15 way adjustable for dampening.

    Do these also offer the same ride height as OEM? I'm adding a wind splitter and don't want to go lower but want to improve my suspension.

      Coilovers have one purpose - to lower a car, and to improve handling. Coilover manufacturers never designed their coilover's to have factory ride heights, and so there is zero data from the manufacturers, and Dart owners about having factory height. So, we cannot accurately answer you. We can say that there should be a minimum of about 1 inch though, and hopefully you can somehow fit a 1 inch drop into your cars build.

    The knob in the top of the rear shocks, is that for adjusting the damping on the rear?

      BC Coilover adjustments for the Dart are as follows :
      (Front) Open the hood, make adjustments on the knob on top of the coilover that bolts to the strut mounts.
      (Rear) The rears have adjuster knobs on the bottom of the shock. You can reach it by reaching through the wheel, or taking the wheel off and adjusting the adjuster knob.

    are the rear assemblies a combined coilover, or are they the same as OEM where the actual spring and strut are mounted assembly??

      All coilovers follow the factory design. These are no different, the shocks and the springs are seperate pieces, just like the factory suspension pieces.
