ATI Super Damper, 03-05 Neon SRT-4 / 01-10 PT Cruiser

ATI Performance Products, Inc. is proud to introduce its renowned Super Damper for the Dodge Neon SRT-4 and Chrysler PT Cruiser for both street and racing applications.

Unlike factory pulleys, which offer no protection to high performance engines, the ATI Super Damper provides balanced dampening of torsional crankshaft vibrations at all RPM.

The Super Damper comes with 360 degree laser-etched timing marks and features a 7% OVERdrive diameter so you'll need longer belts. All ATI Super Dampers exceed SFI 18.1 Safety Certification and are approved for competition use.

This pulley is not compatible with the factory belts. You may purchase the correct belts from us in the additional options section below, or you can source your own belts with the following part numbers:

  • Alternator: Part #5040335
  • PS & A/C: Part #5040560
  • PS, (NO AC) used with the MPx AC delete kit: Part #5040515

Note: This pulley is also compatible with 95-05 Neon 2.0L applications, but will require different belt sizes. A serpentine belt conversion will also be required for 95-99 Neons with V-belt PS & A/C.

    will this also fit the 2.0 dohc neon? if not does ati make one for the 2.0

      You can use this pulley on any 2.0 1995-2005 Neon. For 95-99 Neons, you'll need to convert your ac/power steering over to serpentine with second gen tensioners and equipment. For 00-05 Neons , this would work fine as well since it already has serpentine belts. We cannot give advice on which belts to use, so you'd need to measure and buy belts from a local auto parts store as the lengths could be different from the standard 2.4 SRT4 belt lengths.

      This can be used on any SRT-4, regardless of level of mods. However, the majority of SRT-4 owners that are using this have 400+ hp levels, and or built motors.

      Yes definitely. You'll just need a shorter belt. As of 12/1/2016 we do not have the belt measurement, you'll need to measure the circumference and get a belt from your local auto parts store.

    Does this the 420a engine? 95-99 eclipse 2.0L non-turbo.
    If so what belts do I need for it work with PS/AC and alternator?

      It will fit on your crankshaft, and as long as you have serpentine belts and not V belts, it will work. You'd need to figure out the belt lengths on your own though.
