These should be used in an exhaust system to allow for more flexing of the exhaust or movement. This, when welded in place will not leak, and will not rust. Use this when you have a exhaust that doesn't have a ball joint, or for just more flexibility and to reduce stress on the exhaust hangers.

Hi, I have a 3" exhaust system with a stock O2 housing. What size flex pop would be required to replace the old one?

  These are designed to have your existing piping either slip inside it, but can be butt welded to the piping. However its best to slip fit. The internal diameter of the flex joint is a little larger, so it will fit with the size piping you have. So if you have 3 inch piping, choose 3 inch.
