| Great Product Despite Some Issues |

Comments: Had this installed by the body shop that was doing my brake and chassis work. Dude who installed them switched the left from for the right front. In process of trying to adjust for height he didn't unclamp the external reservoir bracket resulting the reservoir not moving with the strut body as it was threaded up. This snapped to feed pipe from the reservoir to the rebound circuit on the strut. BC Was great, they had me pay for a strut up front and I sent the damaged one to Florida, they looked it over, but one of the managers, Tim, was cool and gave me a courtesy warranty. I'll be calling him soon for a left strut body. As for performance? They are amazing. I've driven KW's, H&R's and some euro cars with pricey setups. If I blindfolded you and took you out in this car, put it through its paces, you wouldn't believe this was an affordable Korean made kit. It simply delivers in every respect of the criteria guys like us use to judge coilovers. Granted, this is a 2500lb vehicle, and maybe some other vehicles, owner expectations and driving styles would negate these coilovers as a viable choice, but for my back road madness, zipping around on ramps, and late night slaloms and figure eights in mall parking lots, this is fine for me. |
