Comments: I ordered this because the old one broke. Price and shipping was competitive, and it got here quickly. The plastic liner on the cable is thick (good and protective, I hope!) and stiff, and I was afraid that maybe I had gotten the wrong part at first. No, it was the right cable. It looks like a high-quality part, too. Installation was pretty easy--they should add in the instructions that you should connect it to the locking ring on the column before connecting it to the base, otherwise you'll end up doing the installation twice--but it's easy enough that it wasn't really a big deal. It's been working great, and I can back up again! I hope I don't need to buy too many new parts soon, but when I do, I'll come back here. You should too! |

Comments: Although the cable for the 2013 Dodge Dart was made to be shorter than in subsequent model years, this cable comes with a diagram of how to properly install this in order for it to work just as well on the 2013 as it does on newer vehicles. It is working great for me, and wasn't too tricky to install once I understood exactly where/how to feed the cable. |

Comments: The reverse lockout cable was exactly what I needed for my 2013 Dart when mine snapped. It came with instructions which were fairly difficult to follow (images weren't easy to understand) but they were entirely supplemental, so I can't complain. Overall, good price and quality. |

Comments: Instructions were straight forward, however I wish the instructions included details on how to remove the dash and center console to access the cable. I easily found that information online but wish that MP included those details in the instructions. |

Comments: Called to several local Dodge Dealers to find a small cable used in my Dart's manual transmission. Sadly theses parts people had never heard of such a part. Got referred to Modern Performance via internet. They had the part in stock. Arrived a few days later; easy install / replacement; Performing perfect. I saved humdreds$ by DIY |

Comments: 2013 2.0 Dart Se, Its a little tricky to run the cable the proper route but as long as you use the instructions supplied you will have no problems! Make sure you hook the cable insulation to the bottom and upper plastic hooks otherwise the cable will not have proper function! Perfect Fit works Amazing!! Thank you ModernPerformance!! |

Comments: I already had short range shifter installed for years so it was a quick fix. MP was very helpful with sending me instructions on removing center console again. |

Comments: So far so good. While I own a 2014 Dodge Dart, the reverse lockout cable still slipped out of the casing and wore down to the point of breaking. This cable is longer and has a "grippier" casing so I am confident that it will not have the same issue. The important thing to note is that I did not have to replace anything else in the shifter, just the cable. The instructions were instructive enough to show the wrapping of the cable to ensure that it would not pinch and now I can back the car up once again! |
