Since the AEM intake produced the most power out of all air intakes we ever tested, we loosely based our intake off of the AEM design. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe just decided to A) offer it in a awesome black wrinkle coated finish, and B) unlike AEM, we would readily offer replacement parts for this intake but also make sure that these parts would fit older AEM intakes.
