We used the supplied silicone adhesive to glue the broken clips back onto the dash pad, and then we cleaned the OEM dash pad and aftermarket dash cover with ammonia based window cleaner. Next we ran a bead of silicone around the outer perimeter, around the tweeter holes, and defroster vents. Then we installed the cover onto the OEM dash pad, and laid out microfiber towels and some weights on the dash to hold it down while the silicone dries.
