Model Number: 220111-STAGE1

The 03-05 Neon SRT-4 is a fantastic platform. Utilizing a 2.4L engine and TD04 Turbo, Dodge created a vehicle that quickly became a popular choice for auto enthusiasts. The Syked Stage 1 ECU will raise boost to around 16-18 psi, create the signature Syked ECU deceleration popping, and add a WOT shift boost hold feature when utilizing PCM controlled boost. It is the perfect calibration for those who want to retain the stock fuel system (2004+ Injectors Required), turbo, and sensors. This tune compliments bolt-on modifications such as an intake and exhaust, and will work fine with modifications such as catless downpipes with no check engine lights.

Features include:

  • Increase of 15-20 HP & 20-30 ft-lbs of Torque
  • Increased WOT & Part Throttle Boost
  • Improved Turbo Response
  • Refined Boost Hold Feature During WOT Shifts
  • Aggressive Exhaust Note During Deceleration
  • Modified Fan Temperature Settings
  • Modified Secondary O2 Sensor Algorithms
  • Re-Calibrated Spark and Fuel Tables
  • Works great with factory wastegate actuators, or aftermarket wastegate actuators.

In order to use this pcm, you should have:

  • A 2003 with 2004/2005 Injectors
  • Or a 2004/2005 with stock injectors
  • Factory turbo and factory map, tip sensors.
  • Easy installation. Remove your old PCM, install the new one and you are done! This performance flash increases your boost to 15 psi, and richens the fuel mixture so you can make more power.

This is a special order item. Turnaround time is typically 4-6 weeks, and orders may not be able to be cancelled once a PCM core is sourced and your unique vehicle information has been flashed to it.

Note: All Syked ECUs are flashed on used PCM cores, and are intended for off-road use only.

I ordered stage 1 for my 05 srt 4. I have acquired and 04 srt 4 just recently. My question is can I take the stage 1 computer out of my 05 and put It in my 04 with out having any issues?

      • Customer Service Rep

Your SRT-4 will not run if the vin number programmed in the computer does not match the vin number of the car its plugged into. If you are trying to swap pcms between cars you'd need to have your vin number reprogrammed into the pcm to match your new car. You can do this at a dealership, or some places will reprogram if you send it into them.

is there a core return on this pcm

Can this be used with a diablo sport tuner on top?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

You could, but we are not sure why you'd do that. Once you Diablosport flash a pcm, you overwrite the pcm coding. So, there is no point in buying a Syked stage 1, and then overwrite it with a Diablosport flash. If you are going to install a Diablosport flash, just do it on your stock pcm.

So if you have a 2004 srt4 do u need different injectors?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

For any 2003/2004/2005 SRT-4, you keep your stock injectors for use with this. Simply install the pcm and you are done!

so you need to have stock turbo for this??
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

You can have whatever turbo you want, but its originally designed to work with the stock turbo. You can use this with other turbos as long as you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to control fuel going to the motor.

can i run a 3 bar map senor, if not what modifications i need?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

Definitely not. This pcm is for use only with stock map and tip sensors. If you are trying to do any sort of custom tuning or big turbo you really should be using the Diablosport product and getting a custom tune.

Im doing a SRT swap from a cruiser gt in my 1g neon the factory ECU is fried i was recommended this ecu will it work
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

This is a replacement pcm. As long as your harness and sensors are good, there is no reason why it wouldn't work. If you have a problem with your harness though, or some internal short, or other issue, then a pcm replacement wont make your car run.

Yes, this unit when you receive it, is ready to go. Install it, start your car and you are good. Nothing else is required.

Will this ecu pass emissions inspection?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

In Texas and in most other states, you should pass an emissions inspection with this pcm. However, because each state has different regulations we cannot guarantee a passing grade with this pcm, we can only tell you that you should be fine.

So I want to order this pcm but my question is later down the road when I go bigger turbo will I be able to flash this pcm with a new tune via trinity or will I have to put the stock pcm back in the car? Thank you
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

This pcm is designed for best operation with the factory turbo, factory injectors, factory map and tip sensors, etc. You could flash this pcm with a new tune from the Trinity/Intune etc, but it would be a waste, you should just flash your factory pcm with the Trinity/Intune. This is because once a pcm has been reflashed, it doesn't matter what the pcm had program wise originally because its all overridden.

Hi there to get this ECU do I have to send the one my car is using right now?
      Thanks
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

No, this is a replacement pcm, you do not need to send us your old one.

I assume this can be used with the agp bws turbo with no problems?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

As long as you have a factory turbo, or factory style turbo like the AGP Big Wheel STocker turbo, this pcm should work fine. Just be sure to use a Air/Fuel mixture ratio gauge to monitor how your car is running and that you are not running lean.

Could you guys flash this ecu for a E85 tune as well?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

No, this is tuned for 93 octane premium fuel. There are no options for any other tunes, custom requests, etc.

Does this have a wot box installed already, with two step? If not could it work with a wot box and boost control? Thanks in advance.
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

No, this does not have a two step/launch control system. Yes, you can use the N2MB wot box with any pcm/tune.

I have a 2005 SRT-4 ACR. It is stock other than a mopar cold air intake, needswings dp, and borla exhaust. If i buy this ecu and install it, do I need to have a wideband gauge? Really dont want one if I don't need it... Thanks!
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

With this pcm, stock turbo, and bolt on parts, you should be fine without a air/fuel mixture ratio gauge, however, if there is any issue with map sensors, o2 sensors, or most importantly fuel pump, you may not realize your car is running lean without a air/fuel gauge. Its best to just get one and be safe.
    • Kevin
I have a 05 srt4 with 650cc injectors will this work on it or will i have to go back to stock injectors
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

Like we have said a few times in this Q&A, this is designed to run with factory turbo, factory injectors, factory map and tip sensors. You can change injectors, however the pcm will not recognize the change of injectors, and you'll have way more fuel than neccesary. Stock 2003 injectors are 527cc, 2004-2005 injectors are 577cc. So you are talking about an increase of more than 10%, you'll lose at least 20 horsepower if not more by using larger injectors and not having a custom tune made to accomodate. If you want to use this tune then you should install the stock injectors.

Does it have SKIM delete or still run security system?

This ecu is designed to have the security system intact. We do not offer a skim key security bypass.
