The Progress Adjustable Sway Bar for the 2013-16 Dodge Dart! So you have upgraded the wheels and tires, and now the traction has increased. More traction means more body roll, and the 'leaning' during cornering follows suit. The fix is simple! Bolt-on a Progress rear adjustable sway bar, and tame that unnerving body 'lean' while cornering. Now enthusiasts can sport-tune their 2013-16 Dodge Dart for improved handling with an upgraded Progress rear Anti-sway bar.

This bolt-on suspension component will minimize the uncomfortable body 'roll' during sport driving, and reduce understeer or 'plowing' during cornering. This rear sway bar replaces the OEM 14 or 15mm bar with a larger 19mm diameter alloy steel anti-sway bar and new polyurethane bushings. The end of the sway bar has two adjustment locations, so you can fine-tune the roll stiffness. The replacement polyurethane bushings are firmer than the OEM rubber units, so the new bar responds faster to cornering inputs. This Progress sway bar upgrade will also improve highway tracking and speeds up the steering response. The kit is complete, including synthetic chassis grease & installation instructions.

-Less body roll means more traction, faster cornering speeds, and increased driver confidence. -Polyurethane bushings produce crisp response on turn-in. -Progress Anti-sway bars are cold-formed in-house using our custom-built precision bending equipment. Both laser-cut and CNC bar ends are MIG welded in place using a precise fixture for an exact fit.

Would you need an alignment after placing the new set up?

No, you will not need an alignment after installing a swaybar, or strut bar. Alignments are only needed when you remove and or reinstall struts, and or loosening the knuckle bolts.

This states that not all sway bars are powdercoated gray. Do they have any coating at all or are they raw steel??

If you ever have any doubts about a part at MP, just look at the photos. We always take our own photos, so you are looking at the actual part you'd receive. There is no endlink in the photos, furthermore the product text near the bottom states : reuse your factory endlinks.

Which holes are for the firm and soft setting? thanks!

In the photo showing the factory swaybar and the Progress bar, the part of the swaybar that is shaped like a J with the endlink mounting holes is called a moment arm. The further away the mounting hole is from the bend near the swaybar mounting bushing is, the softer it is. The closer the hole is on the moment arm to the center of the bar, the more firm it is.

Other than the end links, is anything else need to add this to 2016 SE?

If your Dart already has a rear swaybar, then you just replace your OEM swaybar with this one and the frame mount bushings and reuse your factory endlinks. If you do not have a rear swaybar, then you will need to buy new OEM or factory style endlinks.
