Want to improve the performance of your 2008-2010 Cobalt SS Turbo/HHR SS? A MPx downpipe is a great choice for faster throttle response, higher boost levels and more horsepower.

This downpipe is made from the following details:

  • Solid 7-9 horsepower increase over stock downpipe.
  • DIRECT replacement, no cutting, welding needed.
  • NO check engine lights!
  • No modification of engine oxygen sensors needed, direct installation!
  • Made completely out of 3 inch T304 Stainless steel for long life, durability and great looks.
  • Made out of 16 gauge thick stainless steel.
  • Hangers are made with 400 series stainless steel for strength.
  • Flex pieces are full stainless steel, and are triple lined for great flexibility and durability.

Note: This product includes the downpipe, mounting hardware, and a 3-bolt gasket. No gasket should be required for the odd-shaped 4-bolt flange on the manifold side of the downpipe, as this flange mates to a cast surface.

    i have the catback mpx exhaust.just curious whether or not i need to buy the catted down pipe or non catted downpipe to work with the exhaust ?

      Either downpipe with or without a cat will bolt up to the MPx catback.

    Will this downpipe pass emissions? And does it sound a little quieter then the cat less downpipe?

      Yes, this will pass emissions in every state except California which has the strict CARB emissions laws. Yes, having a catalytic convertor on a downpipe will be quieter than no cat downpipe.
