MPx 3.0" to 2.5" Catless Downpipe, 2013-16 Dart 1.4L / 2012-17 Fiat 500 Turbo / 2015+ Renegade 1.4L

Model Number: 226904-2.5

If you own a 2012-17 Fiat 500 Turbo, 2013-16 Dart 1.4L, or 2015+ Renegade 1.4L and want to remove your factory cat, to increase performance, this is the piece you need.

We've crafted out of T304 stainless steel a direct replacement downpipe for the factory cat unit. This bolts onto the turbo v band clamp on top and bolts to the B pipe on the bottom. Bungs are welded in the factory locations so you can screw your o2 sensors in and not have to leave them hanging. This downpipe IS THE FIRST AND ONLY downpipe that has studs to allow the factory heatshields to bolt back on.

This 3.0" downpipe transitions down to 2.5" to mate up with the OEM B-pipe or larger aftermarket exhaust system.

Removing the cat will make for far less exhaust restriction and give your car a more aggressive exhaust tone. But, this is for off road use, and racing use only, and you wont be able to pass emissions testing in any state that does yearly emissions testing.

Also, you must have some sort of PCM flash, or piggyback unit that disables the downstream 02 sensor monitoring. Otherwise, you'll have a check engine light pop up on your instrument cluster. So, please dont buy this unless you either have the pcm flash, or you dont care about the check engine light.

The downpipe fits the following vehicles:

  • 2013-16 Dodge Dart 1.4L Turbo
  • 2012-17 Fiat 500 Turbo / Abarth
  • 2015+ Jeep Renegade 1.4L Turbo

Please choose your vehicle from the drop-down menu below before adding this item to your shopping cart.

I should order the 2.25 if I am still equipped with the stock B Pipe right? Also does this improve an spool or sound on the exhaust?

Yes, if you have a stock b pipe you should order the 2.25 inch outlet. Only select the 2.5 if you have a larger exhaust that can accommodate for the larger diameter.

This will improve spool up time to make it faster, and it will also make the Abarth have an aggressive, more louder exhaust tone.

Does this have one or two 02 sensor bungs? Thanks

There is one bung, near the turbo that is the upper oxygen sensor location. The downstream is on the pipe below the downpipe.

Remove V band clamp to turbo. Remove two bolts from bottom flange, remove o2 sensor clip and wiring. Then, remove old downpipe and heatshield, swap heatshield over to new downpipe and reinstall.

How much of a performance gain can we expect with this downpipe? And how much louder will it make the stock exhaust?

After you've installed a tune, you'll gain 6-9 hp with this downpipe.

Does this downpipe also mount to the Garret GT 1752S turbo upgrade?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Yes of course. Because the Garret GT 1752S uses a stock cast exhaust housing, its exactly the same as the factory turbo. Meaning, this works perfectly as well.

Is the catless downpipes for the Dodge Dart that you have a direct bolt up to stock b pipe
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Yes, this downpipe replaces the factory catalytic converter downpipe in between the turbo and the B pipe. Yes it is a direct bolt in piece.

Will the car run lean without a tune, in other words will this effect the air/fuel ratio?

There are two oxygen sensors on the exhaust after the engine. Upstream, which monitors how the engine is running is the most critical, and is in use regardless of which downpipe you have. The downstream sensor's only job is to monitor the emissions after the catalytic converter. We have not seen any changes in air/fuel ratio with this downpipe, nor have heard back from any customers noticing any changes to air/fuel ratio after installing this.
