We stock this item! We hear from customers all the time who ordered this from another vendor, waited weeks, and then cancelled the order. Don't fool around! If you want this item, we stock it!

Adding a Rear Diffuser to your 2013-2016 Dart allows the air to flow under your car from the front and sides, accelerating and reducing pressure.

There is a suction peak at the transition of the flat bottom and diffuser. The rear diffuser then eases this high velocity air back to normal velocity, and also helps fill in the area behind the car. This makes the whole underbody a more efficient downforce producing device by reducing drag on the car and increasing downforce. The rear diffuser also imparts upward momentum to the air which further increases downforce.

Unlike other vendors, Modern Performance makes every effort to keep this item in stock! Why wait 2-4 weeks for delivery from another vendor when you can have your order shipped today?

Note: We have been advised by a customer that the rear diffuser cannot be used along with rear splash guards / mudflaps due to its design.

Modern Performance is the Dart expert!
Modern Performance has been in business since 1997. Since the late 1990's, we have developed, and carried in stock parts for Chrysler 4 cylinder cars. We are Dart experts, as we have owned two Darts since 2013/2014, one being a 1.4 Turbo, and the other a 2.4 GT. Our warehouse is located in Houston Texas, and we stock tons of product for same day shipping. We hope we can help you with your Dart parts needs soon!

will this work on a 15 aero model that has no diffuser .i can just take the stock one off and use this in its place.

    • customer service rep

Yes, for any Dart that has a black plastic OEM insert on the rear bumper, this can be interchanged with i.
  • Terry
Is this product compatible with Darts that have single exhaust? The pictures seem to only feature dual exhaust, and the description does not specify if a single exhaust version is available.
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

This is only designed for dual exit oem built in tips. If you wanted to install this you really should get another oem bumper tip to install, and run piping off your exhaust to the other built in tip.
  • Shane
How big is the outlet for the exhaust tip?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

When installing the rear diffuser, you remove your oem exhaust tips and transfer them to the rear diffuser. So, the size doesn't change.

could this be put on to a dart with the single outlet exhaust so that way it would be easier to put a dual exhaust on?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

Definitely. You'd need this piece, along with the two muffler tips that fit into the diffuser.

  • Mike

    • Customer Service Rep

  • neal lee
hello does the diffuser replace the dual exhaust bumper clip or does it add on to it. i am changing to a dual exhaust and wanted to know if i need the dual bumper clip o can i just get the diffuser instead

This rear diffuser replaces whatever you currently have on your rear bumper. You do not remove your OEM bumper or need a new one. So if you have a no tip rear valance, or single tip valance, or even the oem dual tip, this replaces it.

Is it possible to just by the sides?

No, sorry these only come as a complete set from Mopar and are not available separately.

I am trying to find the difference between this product and the Mopar OEM lower rear bumper valance. I have a single exhaust and am looking at changing the cover to run duals out but besides the price and the design, that's the only thing I am seeing that is different. Is the only difference mainly the little fin on this diffuser? Cause I'm just wanting to swap out the stock cover now with either this one or the valance one to run duals. Thanks.

The difference between the OEM lower dual valance and the Mopar rear diffuser is that the lower dual valance tucks up under the bumper and flat. The Mopar rear diffuser flares out at the sides and creates more of a lip along the rear lower part of the bumper behind the wheels.

Is this easy to installer do I need to get a pro to install it?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

For this particular part, Mopar says you will need a drill, 8mm ratchet, rivet gun, pliers, and marking pen, etc. Its not a difficult installation however if you are not comfortable with these kinds of tools or work, then its best to leave it to a mechanic or mechanically inclined friend.

Hi, my current rear diffuser is the single outlet and i want to upgrade to this mopar rear diffuser, do you guys offer the exhaust tips that would fit this diffuser?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

We do not offer the exhaust tips. You will neither need to buy them new from a dealership (last time we checked they were like $120 each) or get them used, or from a junkyard. Also be sure to search Ebay.
