Model Number: 220273

We carry the Mopar OEM Temperature Sensor. This particular sensor is used in several vehicles as the temperature sensor in the air intake box, however in the 03-05 Neon SRT-4 it is the sensor between the throttle body and the intercooler on the factory plastic and rubber piping.

This will fit the following vehicles:

  • 03-05 Neon SRT-4 (used in the pressure pipe between intercooler and throttle body)
  • 01-10 PT Cruiser (turbo or non turbo)
  • 08-09 Caliber SRT-4 (used in the air intake before throttle body)

NOTE 1 This does not come with the rubber grommet!!!

NOTE 2 For the Neon SRT4, this only works with the factory piping between intercooler and throttle body. If you have an aluminum aftermarket pipe, this will only work if you have a push type grommet type fitting. If you have a screw in style sensor and aluminum piping you will need the AGP replacement temperature sensor kit!

Does code p0073 come up if this sensor is not in?

Yes, most likely if your sensor wiring is either damaged, or if the sensor is unplugged, or faulty you'd have a P0073 code.

Does this sensor come with the rubber gromet?

    • Customer Service Rep

No, just as shown in the product photos, this is just the sensor. That grommet is part of the piping that goes between the throttle body and intercooler and its not sold separately by Mopar.
  • Travis Buie
What size is the rubber grommet and what would I have to purchase to get it or where would I get it? I have hard pipes already but the grommet is worn out and keeps blowing out.

We don't have any measurements of the grommet. The last time we had problems with the rubber grommet we took the upper hard pipe and sensor into a hardware store, found a grommet and cemented it in place. Or, better yet, just get rid of the troublesome factory pressure sensor grommet altogether with a AGP uppipe that has a threaded temp sensor and never deal with blowing out sensors again.

Do you guys not carry these sensors in the upgraded thread in ones anymore?

This is the OEM pressure pipe sensor for use in the OEM pressure pipe. It sounds like you are looking for the AGP upper hard pipe pressure sensor - part number 220221-SENSOR-v2.
