Does your oil light on your dash bing every time you stop or take off?

Do you have oil leaking from the backside of your block from the oil pressure switch?

Or do you have a check engine code of P0522 for faulty oil pressure switch?

If so, its time to replace your oil pressure switch. Do it right and get a genuine NEW, MOPAR oil pressure switch. Dont waste your time with an aftermarket sensor that wont work as well, or will fail prematurely.

This will work on the following vehicles:

1996-2005 Neon
2003-2005 Neon SRT-4
2001-2010 PT Cruiser

This will work on a '95 to early 96' Neon if you change out your connector to the flat pin style.

What is the correct socket size for this sensor? I read online somewhere it was 11/16 but I have that size and it is NOT the correct size. It is much bigger. It's a little smaller than 1 and 1/16 inch so I think it's either 23mm or 24mm. If someone can clarify the correct size for me that would be awesome. Thanks in advance

  Its 1 1/16, however it has to be a deep socket. Its a special socket, your local auto parts store should sell it.

I usually have the oil light come on after about 25 mins of driving comes on and goes off in about 1 second and doesn't come back on could that be the sensor issue? Thanks

  Yes, that's exactly what happens when your oil pressure sensor has gone bad. Replace your sensor asap.

Can a bad oil pressure sensor cause a no start/no spark issue

  No. Generally a bad oil pressure switch will just cause an annoying oil level low light to chime on the dash. If you car is not starting it may be a fuel pump/starter issue and you may want to check those out.

The plastic tap on the connector is broken can that cause an oil leak??

  If you have an oil leak, its because the switch/sensor has failed and needs to be replaced.
