Magnetic drain plugs allow you to inspect for any particulates during an oil change, and help pull any metal contamination out of the oil supply.

The benefit of being able to see if there are any particulates during an oil change, is if you start seeing lots of material on the magnet during oil changes, you can inspect the bearings, pistons etc before the damage gets worse.

This drain plug replaces the oem drain plug perfectly in the:

        Yes, this can be reused dozens of times just like the oem drain plug. The only reason you would not be able to reuse it, is if you damage it.

      I noticed it's a 23mm are the torque specs the same as the OEM drain plug?

        Yes, its best to follow the torque specifications of the pan from the manufacturer.
