This kit is perfect for those of you rebuilding your cylinder head, and or are installing larger valves/doing valve work. Please keep in mind that valve guides often must be honed to fit your specific valves, but any machine shop should be to perform this work when assembling your cylinder head.

Do I have to use these valve guides for oversize valves or will new oem valve guides work?

  When installing larger valves, you can use your existing valve guides as long as your guides are in good shape. Normally your local machine shop that is installing the valves will be able to check and tell you if the guides are out of spec, and then you replace them.

Will these work well with BC valves?

  Yes, stock valves, aftermarket valves, whatever you have, these will work. That is, unless you have some bizarre valve that has a different valve stem thickness. We have not seen any valve that is labeled for the Neon or SRT-4/PT/GT cruiser with a different stem thickness though.
