JE Forged Pistons & Rings (Set of 4), Caliber SRT-4

Model Number: 223190-

JE Forged Aluminum pistons are designed to handle serious power, and abuse. Even with additional strength, they are lighter than the factory pistons. When a piston set is lighter than the OEM pistons, it means the engine will respond quicker, making the car more fun to drive!

These pistons have the same compression as stock. They are made from forged 2618 T6 high tensile aluminum and are made in the USA! These are 92 grams lighter than the OEM pistons (Almost 25% lighter than factory pistons, which is huge!), and are compatible with either the Mopar OEM Connecting Rods or the K1 Technologies H-Beam Connecting Rods (see photos).

Included with these pistons are JE Pro Seal piston rings, wrist pins, and wrist pin locks.

Does the .020 overbore compensate for the removal of the stock cylinder sleeves to fill the space?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

You should not be removing the stock sleeves. If you go to an overbore piston, you will have a local machine shop bore out the stock sleeve.

Can I bore my block out 20 thousandths and not have to do sleeves?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

Yes, you can bore out your engine block and use 20 thousandths over pistons without sleeves. Going larger than 20 thousandths and you'd need to get sleeves though.
