The stock pressure piping is made of plastic and has several unnecessary bends and angles. These odd bends restrict the turbo's response time and cause horsepower to be lost. Just think about a garden hose, if you bend the hose, you'll notice a drop in water pressure/volume. Its the same thing with the OEM intercooler hoses!

Not only does the Injen Intercooler Pressure Piping improve on the OEM hoses by having softer bends and more straight sections, but they also shortened the length of the piping, which improves the speed in which the turbo builds up boost and the engine responds to you pushing down on the gas pedal!

On the Dyno this pressure piping yielded a 7 HP and torque peak gain, and at redline a nearly 15 HP gain over stock. The higher you rev your engine, the more efficient this piping becomes in comparison to the stock plastic piping, providing more power and improving throttle response.

Note: This kit consists of two pieces of aluminum mandrel bent, USA made intercooler piping. This kit reuses your OEM couplers, and does not come with any couplers.

What affect does this product have with the cars warrantee?

  Your car wont have any problems, or check engine lights with this set of intercooler piping. So, you can install this, and not have any problems at all. Most dealerships wouldnt even care if you installed these, and if you are concerned for any reason for when you're going in for warranty service, then you can take these off and switch back to the factory piping.

  The diameter changes depending on where you measure, but they are roughly 2.25 inch in diameter. TONS of development and testing were put into making a set of piping that made consistent power gains across the board and what you see now is what made the most power out of many different designs!

  No, this is not interchangeable with the Fiat 500 Abarth, the intercooler piping and intercooler design are way different between the two vehicles.

  You will be able to see a small amount of the piping under the cover but not much.

On your answer about the warranty you say the dealer shouldn't care about the install but that doesn't answer whether it voids the warranty for sure or not.

  Wether or not this affects your warranty really depends on what part is having a problem. If you have a problem with your transmission, radio, suspension, electrical wiring, etc then you shouldn't have any issue at all. If

What is the avg. installation time and does the front bumper need to come off?

  Most people with basic tools can install this kit in about 1.5-2 hours. You do not need to remove the bumper, you can simply remove the plastic under tray to access the piping better.

  This kit comes exactly as shown in the photos. Two pieces of piping, and clamps. This kit does not come with an intercooler. If you need a replacement intercooler you should talk to your local dealership or buy a used one off Ebay.

  As of 6/11/2019 this item does not have a CARB certification number for approved use in California. It is fine to use in the other 49 states of the USA.

Does this piping kit come with the 90* rubber elbow coming off the back of the engine or do you have to reuse the stock piece? Mine is torn

  This kit is exactly as shown in the photos. There are no couplers because you reuse your stock couplers. If you need a replacement coupler, you may need to find one used, buy one from a dealership, or find an alternative coupler.

  We've never heard of anyone using these on a 1.4 Turbo Renegade. Even though its the same engine used in the 1.4 Dart, the Renegade seems to sit higher, so most likely the piping is different.

My Dart has already been pretty heavily modified when it comes to the motor, would I still see the same gains and benefits as a stock dart would with this?

  These pipes have smoother ends, shorter piping, so the engine responds faster and harder. It doesnt matter if your car is stock or heavily modified, there will be a noticeable improvement in changing your intercooler pressure piping to these pipes.
