Modern Performance worked directly with Injen to create the first dyno tested and designed air intake for the Dart 2.4. We released this back in May of 2014 and have sold many to 2.4 Dart owners.

This intake is a direct bolt on, cold air intake kit that gains a solid 7 peak horsepower and 5 lbs of torque. We gained even more power and torque across the board, but the peak numbers changed by 7 hp and 5 torque at the wheels.

Please note : unlike some of the cheesy competiting products that are made out of exhaust piping that is spraypainted, the Injen intake is made out of polished aluminum in a real factory. The Injen intake has a support bracket, clamps, and a high quality Injen filter. Please dont be misled with lower quality intakes out there, your Dart deserves better!

Installation time is less than an hour with basic hand tools.

Fits all 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Darts with 2.4 Liter motors.

The Dart front end has a plastic under tray that protects the filter from water, and dirt, so you don't have to worry about water ingestion or dirt exposure.

This intake uses a 2.75 inch filter, we carry them as well if you ever need a replacement.

When installing this intake on a 2014 Dodge Dart 2.4L GT, do you have to take the front fascia off and disconnect or remove the air shutters that are behind the grill that open and close at different temps?

  Some of our customers have told us they only peeled one side of the bumper back and did not remove the bumper. The Injen instructions instruct you to remove the front bumper, so we cant say for sure. It comes with step by step black and white photo installation instructions though!

I have a 2013 dodge dart GT 2.4. Will I need to have a tune done on the pcm for each new mod I install?

  The Dart is a map sensor based car that can adjust to different modifications. You dont need to tune it each time you make a change. With that being said, you can use this intake with whatever mods you have.

  (This only applies to Dart owners in California) As of 4/8/2016 this intake DOES NOT have approval from CARB for use in California and is pending. There is no date for when it will be approved. In the meantime if you live in California, you can install this intake, and when CARB testing comes about, you can remove the intake and put your stock intake back on.

In the pic of the intstalled part. I notice a rubber extension tube that goes from the injen metal to the factory back intake pipe. Is this tube and it's hardware included also?

  The rubber vent hose is the OEM pcv vacuum system, and you simply attach that oem hose to the intake.

  If you want a more affordable air intake, that allows you to hear more of the engine, the Injen is best. If you want a quiet air intake, and you like the Mopar brand, and maybe the ability to use the Mopar sport hood and Mopar air duct with it, then the Mopar is best.

  Yes, like our product description mentioned, this intake fits ALL years, meaning 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016. There is NO DIFFERENCE between any of the years in regards to intakes, and frankly, just about every single engine part. If a product does not fit a certain year, we will mention it on the product page.

Will there ever be a extra piping added for this?
Just like the 2.0 dart this one looks smaller then the other injen intake.

  Nope, no extra piping. This kit was designed to fit with the upper factory air intake piping because a) less than one horsepower was gained by replacing the upper piping and b) the intake has a temp sensor fitting that is very specialized near the throttle body. If Injen made this intake with more piping and that special fitting it would be an extra $100-130 for very little to no benefit.
