If you have a 2013+ Dodge Dart with the 2.0 liter motor and want to make more power and have better gas mileage, this is a great start!

Injen has released their new 3 inch cold air intake for the 2.0 liter motor that gives up to an additional 9 hp and torque increase. This makes for more fun driving, better throttle response and a great sounding intake!

  • Easy installation- just remove your old air intake, install the Injen intake, and your'e making more power and torque immediately! No custom tuning of your pcm is required, as the pcm automatically adjusts!
  • This intake is fully made in the USA, and includes instructions, and all hardware for installation.
  • Available in polished and in black. Select your choice in the pull down menu.
  • Fits all production years of Darts with 2.0 Liter motors, both automatic and manual transmission.
  • The Dart front end has a plastic under tray that protects the filter from water, and dirt, so you don't have to worry about water ingestion or dirt exposure.
  • This intake uses a Injen filter part number 1017, contact us if you'd like to get a replacement after a few years of use.

Note: If you look at our photos, you'll see the Engine Dyno chart for this intake that shows power and torque before and after with stock intake, and Injen intake. The blue lines are stock power and torque. The red lines are Injen power and torque. You'll notice that there are some significant gains! Also the two lines on the bottom of the dyno graph show the air/fuel ratio of the engine. The lower the line is, the richer, or more fuel the engine has, the higher the line, the leaner the engine is. If an engine gets too lean, you will have engine damage, however, with this dyno you can see that both the before and after are almost identical, so there is no danger to the motor with installation of this intake.

I have two questions, will caused problems with any of my sensors? My second question is if this is CARB legal ( I live in California). I guess I don't really care if its legal, I can always change it back when I smog it. Please let me know.
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

The Dart uses a map based sensor, and its located on the intake manifold, not the intake system. Injen has done a lot of testing and its not going to create any problems/check engine lights.

AS of 4/8/2016 this intake is being CARB tested (only applies to California citizens) and by the time you need an inspection done in the next 8 months or 12 months it will be CARB compliant.

Do I have to drop the front bumper to install the whole unit.
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

You do not need to remove the bumper, simply loosen the passenger side to get more access and you can reach inside the bumper for the air filter.
  • Justin

    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

The cover can be made to fit back on the engine with trimming on one corner of the cover.

I have a 2015 Dodge Dart 2.0. Will this cold air intake system fit that year?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

Unless we state otherwise, this intake will fit ALL years of Darts with 2.0 engines.
  • Cody
Will this part also fit and function on the 2015 2.4L tigershark?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

Some 2.4 Dart customers have been ordering and installing this intake, however its not a perfect fit. The support bracket is in a different place to attach it to the motor. You'd need to find a way to cut that off, and then support the intake so it doesnt rub on the motor and make noise if you wanted to use the 2.0 intake on a 2.4.
  • Nancy
Is the finally street legal? And is there a video or something on how to instal this? I dont think i have a 2.0 tigershark, will this still fit my2.0 dart?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

This intake has always been street legal for use in every state except California, as it is pending carb approval for use in California. Everywhere else in the entire world, its fine for use! There is no video for installation but there is an instruction manual included with this intake.
  • Torrin
In this Injen intake accessible for the stock 2.0L or only the Tiger Shark motor?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

As of 1/22/2015, the Dart is offered with a 1.4 multi air turbo motor, a 2.0 and 2.4 motors. Both the 2.0 and 2.4 are called the Tigershark motors. So, to answer your question, yes, the Injen intake for the 2.0 Tigershark motor will fit your car perfectly as thats exactly what it was designed for.
  • Chris Pearce
Does this come with a mass air sensor
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Darts are not mass air flow sensor cars, they are map sensor based, which is in the intake manifold. No sensors of any sort are included with this intake, because its not needed. Stock sensors work fine.
  • Lewis Garcia
Is the filter able to cleaned or can I put a k&n filter in place?
    1 Answer

  • Josh M
Can this function as both a cold air intake and short ram intake?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Although it was not originally designed to be changed from short ram to cold air, it appears that it could be used without the cold air extension.
  • Uzoigwe
Wats a better intake for the dart? The injen or k$n?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Both are good intakes however the Injen intake makes more power than the K&N.
  • Joshua sanchez
