Problem:The factory diverter valve uses a hard plastic plunger to seal against the turbo diverter outlet that is made out of aluminum. Hard plastic does not seal well against aluminum, so boost pressure is lost, causing slower boost buildup and loss of efficiency.

Solution:Use the Go Fast Bits diverter valve kit to replace the poor seal between the turbo and diverter. This allows for crisper throttle response, faster boost buildup, and the leaking of boost is eliminated.

The solenoid coil itself from the factory-fitted valve is great (the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve so why replace it?), but the weak point however is the valve mechanism itself. So GFB's DV+ solves this problem by replacing just the valve parts with an anodised billet aluminium housing fitted with a brass piston machined to exacting tolerances.

The end result is sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and it will hold as much boost as you can throw at it.

  • Comes with photo step by step instructions.
  • Retains the factory solenoid coil for seamless integration.
  • Replaces plastic valve parts with metal for reliability and strength.
  • Direct-fit replacement.
  • No check engine lights, no issues with driving, does not change gas mileage, etc.
  • Exclusive "pilot-actuated" valve mechanism for rapid response at high boost.
  • Please note: as of early 2024, GFB has replaced the red silicone flap on the brass plunger with a blue O ring design. Our photos on this webpage still show the red silicone flap.

Below is a how to video on installing one of these on your 1.4L turbo.

Note: The OEM intake system does not provide enough clearance for both the Go Fast Bits Diverter Valve AND the Forge or MPx Blow Off Plate to be stacked together. If you intend to use both of these products, you must first purchase an aftermarket intake to create enough space to do so.

IT can be used with the forge diverter plate however you will need longer screws. the ones supplied with the forge diverter plate as well as the gfb plate are two short to be used on both together

The Go Fast Bits diverter plate can definitely be used with the Forge plate. The only limiting factor is the intake. As long as it there is no limitation on room because of the intake.

Do you need to completely remove the turbo to put this on?

Most definitely not. There are three bolts holding the factory diverter in place. You remove those three bolts, remove the diverter and perform the conversion outlined in the instructions. Its not too difficult and can be done with basic hand tools. Dont worry.
