Flowmaster Cat-Back Exhaust w/ Exhaust Tips, 2013-16 Dart

Flowmaster has discontinued this exhaust, there are no more left, sorry.

Flowmaster's dBX cat-back exhaust system for the 2013-16 Dodge Dart is perfect for the person looking for a mild interior sound level with a quality performance tone on the exterior and all of the performance benefits you would expect from Flowmaster. This 409S stainless steel system mounts behind the catalytic converter with a dBX muffler and uses dual 2.25" mandrel bent tailpipes and includes polished oval stainless steel tips.

The system can be used on models with no integrated tips, or with single integrated tip. A template is included for cutting out the required dual outlets. We also offer the Mopar OEM Lower Rear Bumper Valance for customers looking for a more finished look.

The exhaust system is manufactured in the USA and is covered by Flowmaster's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Designed for an easy fit, this system includes all necessary parts and hardware for installation.

This exhaust works with all 2013-2016 Darts, and all engines 1.4, 2,0, 2.4. The only difference between models of Darts that makes a difference with this exhaust is the rear lower valance that either has none, one, or two built in tips. This specific exhaust is designed for Darts with one or no tips. If you have a Dart with two tips we recommend you look at the other Flowmaster exhaust.

But this will fit the Mopar rear diffuser that has the dual cut outs without the tips correct?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

No, this exhaust is designed for Darts with no tips, and if you were to use this you need to cut your bumper for this exhaust with its tips to fit on the rear bumper. Therefore, if you want the diffuser, you'd need the diffuser, the two OEM tips, and then you can use the OTHER Flowmaster exhaust that has no tips.

So, this exhaust system is for darts originally without dual exhaust or the dual tip bumper. So do the tips go under the bumper or I would have to cut out the spots for the tips using the "template"? How exactly does this template work, and would it be a difficult task requiring professional tools?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

There is a template that comes with the exhaust and you would cut a circular shape out of the bumper and then the tips would pass through the bumper. Its not difficult to do, you simply tape the template to bumper, and use either a sawsall, keyhole saw to cut through the bumper.

My dart already has the stock dual exhaust would this exhaust system still fill where my exhaust holes are in my bumper?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

This model is for Darts with no tips built into the bumper. You should look at our other model 226902 that is designed for Darts that have tips built into the bumper. That model will work for your Dart with integrated tips.

is this exhaust for just the 2013 or is this exhaust for a 2014 for example?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

This exhaust fits all 2013+ Darts. That means 2013 and newer unless noted otherwise.
  • Billy
Are the 2.25 in. Mufflers included or are they just exhaust pipes?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

This exhaust has a single inline muffler, as shown in the photo of the product. There is no other mufflers included, what you see is the way that Flowmaster designed this.

I have a similar question and think that this is what Robert meant. I didn't quite understand your answer to him, so I wanted to rephrase robert's question.
My 2013 dart does NOT have dual tips at the moment. I am considering buying the MOPAR rear diffuser, which has the two holes for the exhaust but does NOT have the tips integrated into it. In this case, this exhaust should fit perfectly into the holes right?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

This exhaust is designed for those Dart owners that have a bumper with no tips. This comes with a template for you to cut two holes for the tips on the exhaust, you install it, and you are done.

If you want to buy the Mopar rear diffuser, then you should not buy this Flowmaster exhaust you should buy the Flowmaster with tips as you'll then have cutouts in the rear diffuser. You'll also need to buy the Mopar tips to go into the rear diffuser if you don't have them.

How much horsespower is gain with this one?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

We've gained 7-8 wheel horsepower with this exhaust. That's about 8-9 horsepower at the engine.
  • Daniel
Has this exhaust been tested with the mpx header?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

If you have the MPx header, there is only one exhaust you should be considering, and its the MPx Exhaust with mufflers. If you cannot use that system because you do not have built in tips, then you should either (a) Get the OEM rear diffuser and oem tips and get the MPx exhaust with mufflers, or (b) Get this exhaust and add on two small mufflers to this exhaust. We sell the mufflers on the exhaust section page.

Does this exhaust need to be welded together? Or does it come in a complete, fully welded, entire chunk?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

This exhaust is a slip fit system, with at least 5 different sections that bolt together. If you look closely in the photos you'll see the clamps that are holding the sections together. You can use the clamps for ease of installation however we highly recommended welding to ensure no leaks.
  • Kurt Person Jr
Is the only difference between this exhaust and the ones without the tips just the tips? Everything else is the same?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

This exhaust is designed for use with Darts that have a single tip exhaust. With this exhaust, you can use the supplied template to cut the exhaust tip hole on the other side and then use this exhaust. Or you could buy the dual tip valance and two tips from Mopar (or buy used) and then use the other Flowmaster exhaust that is designed for use with built in tips.
