Education Time:
2003 SRT-4 injectors are 527cc @ 58psi
2004/2005 & stage1 injectors are 577cc @ 58 psi
All stage2/3 injectors are 682cc @ 58 psi

Now, you should have read above that the Deatschwerks injectors are rated at 43 psi, however, the Neon SRT-4 is pressurized at 58psi. What this means is a injector flows more at a higher pressure. So, the Deatschwerks 750cc injectors would probably flow closer to 900cc when in the Neon SRT-4 running 58psi. 1000cc injectors, would probably flow close to 1200cc at 58psi.

To do more conversions of fuel injectors, check out Deatschwerks injectors online calculator here: https://www.deatschwerks.com/fuel-calculators/flow-vs-pressure-calculator or if that does not work, then type into google.com Fuel injector pressure calculator.

In our experience, the 750cc injectors can support up to about 400 horsepower in the Neon SRT-4. The 1000cc injectors can support 400-550hp.

NOTE: You cannot change injectors on your Neon SRT-4/Caliber SRT-4 and make more power. The PCM cannot take into account larger injectors, and so if you make a change, it thinks it still has the older injectors, and runs tons more fuel. This makes your car lose a lot of power and run poorly. So, if you want to change your injectors to a larger size, you need to either 1) Use the Diablosport tuner and a custom tune from a CMR tuner 2) Use a return line kit and adjust the fuel pressures to compensate. There is no way around it, don't even think about changing to larger injectors unless you have either of those two options.

All Deatschwerks pumps and injectors are E85 compatible.

If insalling this injectors do i have to reprogram my ecu? Or does it run with all stock program?
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

These MUST be used with either a return line kit or a custom Diablosport flash. The factory PCM by itself cannot properly run these injectors.

I'm going to run e85 in my SRT4. Stock turbo with bolt ons. I would like to know if it's possible to use the deatschwerks injectors and which would be compaparible to RC 750s.

750cc injectors are pretty big for a stock turbo car. 750cc injectors at the SRT4 58 psi will allow for a maximum of about 400-425 wheel hp. Thats way more than you'll make with a stock turbo. If anything, we'd recommend the 625cc stage 2/3 injectors.

I have the MOPAR STAGE 2 PCM in my 03 NEON SRT4, using the MOPAR 680 CC injectors. If I run the DEATSCHWERKS 650 CC in my engine will I need to reprogram the PCM or do anything else. I just want a little more power without having to retune the stage 2 PCM, since I should get higher flow at 58 psi from the 650 cc. Thanks.

    • Modern Performance

Deatschwork injectors are rated at 43 psi, but yet the SRT4 flows at 58 psi. This means a Deatschworks injector that is rated at 590 will flow 680cc in a 58 psi system. So, you could use the 590, and it will be a perfect match for your stage 2 injectors. The Deatschworks 650 would be way too big and would require a retune.

I have a 2008 CSRT4, I know these cant be run on the stock PCM and need a tune. My question is, Im tuned with the RealTune MS1k, do you know if ill still need to re-tune or could I plug-n-play?
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

If you use a larger sized injector with a stock pcm, the pcm cannot compensate for the change in fuel and the car will run a lot richer. So, you'd either need to reflash the pcm, or have a regulator to lower the fuel pressure.
  • Haris
I have a 2004 SRT4, so if I purchase the 590cc Injectors I should be able to put these on and not need to re-tune my ecu correct?
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

590 CC is the size used with the stage 2/3 kits. If you have a stage 2/3 kit from Mopar on your car it will work fine. If you have ANYTHING ELSE, they will not bolt on and work fine.
  • Justin
I'm running a stock turbo on my 2004 SRT, will the 590cc injectors work fine with the diablosport 91 canned tune?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

Your car will run, but not very well. It will be running very rich, and you'll lose power. You really will need stock 04-05 injectors, or you will need to get a custom tune in order to use the 590cc injectors.
  • tim
Im looking to just replace my mopar stage 2 injectors, will these work? Im running a diablosport tuner on 19psi.
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

The Deatschwerks 590cc (rated at 48psi) injector, when installed in a Neon SRT-4 (58psi oem fuel system), flows 690cc, or the exact same amount as the Mopar stage 2/3 injector. This means its a perfect replacement for the Mopar stage 2 injector.

Going to run e85 i have the stage 2 injectors will that be enough to run e85

You should ask your tuner to see what injector size they recommend.
  • david
If I buy stage 2 injectors do I need mods.? Like fuel pump or pcm. Or I can run stock. Fuel pump and lines.?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

If you do not have a stage 2 pcm, or a way to do a custom tune like the Diablosport tuner with a custom tune, do not even consider injectors. If you put in larger injectors with your factory pcm, it will run super rich and you'll lose power.
  • Eric
I have big turbo, big pump, big return line but stock pcm just bought a Diablo and need a tune. I have RC 750CC currently, should i purchase these Dworks 1300cc instead?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

750cc injectors are good up to about 400hp. 1300cc injectors would be good for over 500hp.
  • Jose
Can I run these 750s on the mopar stage1 pcm? or will they be too much? Also should I run 750s? or 650s w/ RL considering the flow rate is 58psi so 650cc = 750cc or will 750s w/out RL be ok?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

If you do not have a custom Diablosport tune that accommodates for larger injectors, or if you do not have a return line to control fuel, DO NOT even think of changing your injectors. WHY you ask? Because without a custom tune, or a return line, your car will run super rich and you'll lose about 30% of your power. You CAN NOT run larger injectors without a tune or return line.

Can the 750 cc injector be tuned with the diablosports tuner?
    1 Answer

Of course, all brands and all size injectors can be tuned for with the Diablosport custom tuning process.
