Around 2015, Mopar discontinued the connecting rod bearings for the 08-09 Dodge Caliber SRT-4. If your Caliber needed a engine rebuild or rod bearings you'd have to scramble around to find a set or some sort of fix.
Modern Performance worked with a huge bearing manufacturer for nearly a year to bring out a replacement rod bearing. What you see here is the result of Modern Performance's efforts. We can now keep your Caliber on the road for many years to come!
The Mopar OEM Connecting Rod Bearings had a tang on the outer edge, but these replacements do not. This is not a problem, as the bedplate/girdle that holds the bearings in place squishes the bearings together tightly and keeps them in place. You can ask any good machine shop on this.
