Clutchmasters offers their clutches with a standard steel flywheel like OEM, or with a chromoly lightweight flywheel. This is the chromoly flywheel kit.

The advantage of this kit is that it saves nearly 12 lbs off of the rotating mass compared to the standard steel flywheel clutch kit. This allows for faster engine rev's, but can make the car harder to drive in stop and go traffic. You'll also have additional vibration and noise compared to a standard flywheel kit.

Stage 3 Holds up to 380hp (will do for 95% of you hard drivers, and power adder guys)

FX300 (Stage III clutch kit with clutch, flywheel, disc, and throw out bearing)

  • Holding capacity 170% over stock
  • Heavy-Duty reinforced pressure plate
  • Hi-Leverage pressure ring design
  • Sprung hub/4-button or 6-button
  • Ceramic friction material
  • SFI Approved on most race applications
  • Comes with throw out bearing
  • Stage 4 is offered in a 4 or 6 puck design. The 4 puck design has a stronger, faster bite compared to the 6 puck. Therefore, if you drive your car on the street, or in any other conditions where you need to slip the clutch, we would recommend the 6 puck design.

    When replacing your clutch, we highly recommend you also replace your clutch pivot fork and clutch pivot ball that we sell separately on our website in the clutch section!

      If you are switching from a ACT clutch to the Clutchmasters clutch, you'll need the oem flexplate and bolts. If you dont have those, you'll need to buy a replacement, we offer the kit on our website, search under flexplate.

    Does the kit come with the all the bolts?

      In stock form, you have a flex plate with starter ring gears, flywheel and clutch. With this kit, it eliminates the flex plate and you bolt the chromoly flywheel directly to the crankshaft. Bolts are provided to secure the clutch and disc to the flywheel, and bolts to secure the flywheel to the crank. No other bolts are needed.
