The photo of this kit shows a turbocharger included, however the base price for this kit does not include a turbo. Depending on what options you choose in the pull down menu below, you either get the base kit without turbo, or you get this whole kit with your choice of turbo. The pricing changes depending if you want this kit with or without turbo, and which turbo you want.

AGP builds some of the fastest spooling, highest power turbo upgrade kits available for the 03-05 Neon SRT-4. Since 2006, AGP has been developing, building, and testing new technology turbo combinations that blow the doors off the competition. These turbo upgrades are true bolt-on kits, with no hacking or denting of the firewall required. No matter what your goals are, AGP has a turbo option to meet your needs.

AGP Turbo Upgrade Kits include the following:

  • Your Choice of Turbo & Stainless Steel Heatshield (see below)
  • AGP T3 Manifold
  • 3" Stainless Steel O2 Housing
  • Precision 39mm Wastegate
  • Stainless Steel Wastegate Dump Tube
  • Oil Feed & Drain Lines
  • Water Line Kit (if applicable)
  • Coolant Overflow Bottle
  • Gaskets & Hardware

Modifications required before installing an AGP Turbo Upgrade Kit:

  • 3" Intake (select turbos require a 4" to 3" reducer, stated in description)
  • External Blow Off Valve Setup
  • 3" Exhaust
  • Fuel System Upgrades (varies)

How to make big power?
In order to make 400+ HP your vehicle must have the proper supporting modifications. Any of the turbos offered by AGP can easily reach this number. A quality high flow exhaust is a must. A 2.5" exhaust, such as the Mopar system, can be restrictive at higher boost levels. The same is true of intakes. As you make more power, the intake and exhaust will affect the turbo output more and more. A quality 3.0" intake with a high flow filter is essential. Dyno results have shown the difference between one intake and another can be as much as 50 HP, and the difference between one exhaust and another can easily be 20-30 HP. That is why getting quality parts is so critical. Another important component is the intercooler. While the Neon SRT-4 comes with a FMIC from the factory, it is not an ideal unit. A stock Neon SRT-4 will often gain 10-18 HP, and a big turbo setup may gain 40-50 HP from a better intercooler.

AGP Ball Bearing Turbos

AGP 50-Trim: This has been the standard that all pump gas street turbos have been measured against for years. Available with either a .48 A/R or .63 A/R turbine housing, it is ideal for producing maximum power with the 2.4L stock rev limiter, and the only "old technology" turbo worth considering. Full boost comes on around 3100-3200 RPM with the .48 A/R housing and 3500-3600 RPM with the .63 A/R housing. The .48 A/R housing is capable of producing 400+ HP on race gas, and is ideal for pump gas street driving due to its faster spool time. Maximum boost is around 30 PSI where the .63 A/R housing is capable of producing 500+ HP. This turbo has a 4" inlet and a 2" outlet.

AGP Delta 38: The Delta 38 .48 A/R outshines any stock turbo upgrade with its fast spool time and the ability to hit 360 HP around 24 PSI. It is the solution to the "part throttle boost" commonly associated with stock turbo upgrades, and the ideal choice for those not wanting to purchase major fuel upgrades. This is the turbo the Neon SRT-4 should have come with directly from the factory, and it is the perfect upgrade for customers coming from the Mopar Stage 2. This turbo has a 4" inlet and a 2" outlet.

AGP Delta 42: The Delta 42 .48 A/R produces 350 HP @ 20 PSI around 3000 RPM, and is capable of producing 400 HP @ 25 PSI. It is an excellent choice for customers with stock internals. This turbo has a 4" inlet and a 2" outlet.

AGP Delta 46: The Delta 46 .48 A/R will hit 20 PSI at just over 3000 RPM, and is capable of producing 450 HP @ 27 PSI. This turbo has a 4" inlet and a 2" outlet.

AGP Delta 52: The Delta 52 .63 A/R produces 400 HP @ 20 PSI around 3500 RPM, and is capable of producing 500+ HP @ 30 PSI. It has a maximum boost pressure of 34 PSI. This turbo has a 4" inlet and a 2" outlet.

AGP Zeta 2.8: The Zeta 2.8 .63 A/R is AGP's smallest offering featuring a fully machined billet aluminum compressor wheel with a flow rate of 50+ lbs/min. This turbo will produce 500 HP @ 28 PSI, and maxes out at 30 PSI @ 3200 RPM. If you like the AGP 50-Trim, you'll love the Zeta 2.8. With a faster spool time, and increased power, the Zeta 2.8 sets the new standard that all pump gas street turbos will be measured against. This turbo has a 4" inlet and a 2" outlet.

AGP Zeta 3.0: The Zeta 3.0 .63 A/R is AGP's medium offering featuring a fully machined billet aluminum compressor wheel with a flow rate of 58+ lbs/min. It is capable of producing 570+ HP, and will hit full boost @ 3400 RPM due to the ultra light weight billet compressor wheel. This turbo has a 4" inlet and a 2" outlet.

AGP Zeta 3.2: The Zeta 3.2, available with either a .63 A/R or .82 A/R turbine housing, is AGP's largest in-house offering featuring a fully machined billet aluminum compressor wheel with a flow rate of 77+ lbs/min. It is capable of producing 750+ HP, and will hit full boost @ 3800 RPM with the .63 A/R housing and 4100 RPM with the .82 A/R housing due to the ultra light weight billet compressor wheel. This turbo has the same 4" inlet as the smaller Delta & Zeta turbos, but a 2.5" outlet that will require an adapter or modification of the hot side pressure pipe.

Borg Warner Journal Bearing Turbos

S251SX: The first step into Borg Warner turbos is the 51mm Extended Tip Compressor with a .48 A/R turbine housing. This turbo has a flow rate of 47 lbs/min, and produces nearly 450 HP @ 29 PSI. It is now also available with a billet wheel (billet option discontinued), which allows for a faster spool time and a 10% gain in power due to the increased blade surface area.

S252SXE FMW: This turbo is the latest release from BW and utilizes the new aero Forged Milled Wheel (billet). It is capable of producing 500+ HP, and will hit full boost at just over 3000 RPM with the .48 A/R housing and 3400 RPM with the .63 A/R housing. This turbo has a 3.5" inlet, so be sure to add the 4" to 3" Reducer to your order, and AGP will include the correct coupler.

S256SX: The 56mm Extended Tip S200SX turbo has a flow rate of 55 lbs/min, and produces 510 HP @ 30 PSI. The .63 A/R turbine housing allows it to hit full @ 3500 RPM. This turbo has a 3" inlet and a 2" outlet, non-ported shroud.

S255-RS: The next step up is into the 55mm Extended Tip compressor coupled with the familiar S200 4" inlet ported shroud compressor housing. This turbo is rated at 50lbs/min and will make just shy of 500whp maxed out at 29psi in the .48 A/R turbine housing. Full boost is around 3400rpm. Compressor housing is 4" inlet and 2" outlet, ported shroud.

S256-RS: (the most popular "S" series) will make 540whp and 535wtq at 30psi in the .63 A/R turbine housing. With a proper fuel setup, this turbo will max out 550whp. This is the OG "Extended Tip" Borg Warner turbo that has been going strong for the past 10 years. Full boost can be seen around 3600rpm in the .63 A/R turbine housing. Compressor housing is 4" inlet and 2" outlet, ported shroud.

S257SXE FMW: All new for 2015 is Borg Warner's new Forged Milled wheel with 65lb/min of airflow. Identical if not faster spoolup than the old S256-RS, and another 100whp on tap when maxed out. This truly is the next generation of technology from Borg Warner. This turbo aslo has the 3.5" inlet so choose the 4-3 coupler and we will get you the correct one.

S261-RS: The S261-RS is a true monster tipping the scales at 70lbs/min and showing near 660whp capability with the .63 A/R housing and full boost below 4000rpm in the .63 A/R turbine housing. Compressor housing is 4" inlet and 2" outlet, ported shroud. To get the full potential of this turbo, we recommend the .82 A/R.

This turbo is now available with a Billet Wheel option. The billet wheel will give slightly better spoolup and about 10% more power due to increased blade surface area.

Garrett GT Ball Bearing Turbos

GT3071R: You will see full boost around around 3100rpm in most conditions, and the turbo will support 425whp if you feel that you need to turn up the boost to 28. If you road race, autocross, or simply want the quickest spooling Garrett turbo setup that supports over 400whp, then the 3071R is for you. This turbo comes with a 4" inlet 2" outlet compressor housing. This turbo is built with a .63 A/R turbine housing.

GT3076R: The turbo has a 52lb/min 56 trim compressor wheel in a 4" inlet port shroud compressor housing to minimize the chance of compressor surge. The turbine wheel is the standard 84 trim GT30. Full boost should be right around 3400rpms with a .63 A/R turbine housing. The maximum boost is around 33psi where we have seen 520whp. This turbo comes with a 4" ported shroud inlet and 2" outlet compressor housing.

GT3582R: The GT3582R carries a larger GT35 turbine wheel to reduce a little more of that manifold backpressure. Full boost around 3700-3800 in the .63 A/R turbine housing, 4100-4200 in the .82 A/R turbine housing. This turbo will support 630whp at 40psi. We recommend the .82 A/R turbine housing. This turbo comes with a Ported Shroud 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet.

GTX3071R: This turbo utilizes Garrett's forged, fully machined compressor wheel. Spool characteristics are very similar to the GT3071R (roughly 3100rpm for full boost), but this will support about another 50-60 more hp, maxing out to about 500hp. This turbo comes with a 4" inlet 2" outlet compressor housing, and is in a .63 A/R turbine housing.

GTX3076R: Using Garrett's billet compressor wheel, the GTX3076R is capable of supporting just about 600hp. Just like the GT3076R, this turbo has a 4" inlet ported shroud compressor housing with a 2" outlet, and will see full boost around 3400rpm in the .63 A/R turbine housing.

GTX3582R: This turbo takes Garrett's GT3582R and adds Garrett's redesigned billet compressor wheel. Full boost is still 3700-3800 rpm range in the .63 A/R housing, and in the 4100-4200 RPM range in the .82 A/R, and power potential is upped to about 730hp. We still recommend this turbo with the .82 A/R to get the most out of this turbo.

Additional Options (see below)

Polishing & Ceramic Coating: For added flavor, AGP can polish the compressor housing and/or heatshield. They also offer ceramic coating for the manifold, turbine housing, O2 housing, and dump tube in either black or silver. While ceramic coating is not necessary, it does help reduce underhood temperatures. Polishing and ceramic coating are custom options. Please allow additional time when selecting these options.

Wastegate Dump Reroute: AGP offers weld-on or bolt-on wasetgate reroute kits for customers wanting to quiet down the wastegate dump.

Note: AGP Turbo Upgrade Kits are custom made to order and typically take 2-4 weeks to ship. If you do not see the turbo option in the drop down menu, AGP has discontinued that kit.

NOTE: because many customers asked for this turbo kit without a turbo, the base price on this kit is the complete turbo kit minus the turbo. The price will escalate as you choose between a kit without turbo, to a full blown kit.

Ask a Product Question

  • Anthony
I am Very intersted in the AGP Delta 42.
    My questions:

I understand that if I get the 750cc injectors, no return line will be needed. But will I need an upgrade fuel rail and fuel pump?

Also why is a wastgate reroute needed? Please explain, as I am finding it hard to understand since this is my first turbo car.

    Thank you for your time!
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

For fuel, you need to choose between either:
      1) Diablosport tuner with a custom tune file designed for your car (We can put you in contact with a tuner that can handle this for you)

      2) A return line kit

PLUS injectors, and a 750CC is a good start along with a new fuel pump.

A wastegate reroute is not neccesary unless you want to quieten down the wastegate. Call us to discuss further, we'd be happy to help and several of our employees have big turbos on their Neon SRT4's and can help.

IM really interested in the Delta 38 setup but im curious: Will the O2 housing that comes with the kit a direct bolt on for MPx exhaust you sell or do I need to run a different exhaust with this kit?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

The AGP turbo kits have a four bolt 02 housing that puts the exhaust exit in the factory location. This means that you can use any downpipe from the SRT4 with this turbo kit.
  • Richard
I was wondering, with this turbo kit and the O2 housing pipe, will that bolt up to any MPx Exhaust?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

The AGP 02 housing is designed to work with all Neon SRT4 downpipes. You'll be good to go!

What headwork is recommended to run the delta 52 turbo? I'm getting a MPx top end and MPx bottom end engine rebuild kits to make sure my car is reliable with 500hp so what other work would I need done?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

No headwork is needed. It would be nice to have a cnc ported head with cams for the ultimate in flow and performance but its not necessary. Get a Diablosport with custom tune, fuel system and injectors, intake and exhaust and you'll be good to go.

I'm interested in the gtx3076r. My question is would I have to upgrade my engine in order to run this turbo setup.
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

You can have whatever turbo you want, but if you go over about 430-450 wheel horsepower you'll need to build the engine with stronger pistons and rods.
  • Axel
when you say external blow off valve what fo you mean exactly and can i buy that here on this website? :)
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

External blow off valve means: an aftermarket blow off valve that can hold higher pressure, and its corresponding mounting hardware. For the Neon SRT-4 you should be looking at the AGP uppipe (search for it in the search bar) package with blow off valve. Our favorites are HKS and Greddy blow off valves for great long term reliability, great sound and they easily handle 20-30 psi of boost.
  • Jason
I have a AGP manifold and turbo, can I buy replacement gaskets between the turbo and manifold?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

This manifold uses a T3/T4 style gasket, they are commonly sold, and you should be able to get a replacement from AGP.

The AGP Delta 38 do i need to upgrade injectors? I have an 04 srt4 stock in injectors just stage 1 ecu
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Yes, if you change from a stock turbo to a bigger turbo, you need a return line and injectors or a diablosport with custom tune and injectors.
  • Darryl

    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Yes, this turbo kit will also fit the turbocharged 2.4 PT/GT Cruiser.
  • Darryl
Does this kit come with injectors if not what size would be good for 50 trim
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

No injectors are included. We recommend a minimum of 750cc injectors. 1000cc injectors are even better.
  • nick collins
does the kit include a agp turbo or is it a add on???
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Years ago, this listing was for the full AGP turbo kit. Manifold, turbo, wastegate, everything. Then we started getting a bunch of people asking for this kit without the turbo, because their uncle had a spare turbo in the garage, or they found one at the junkyard, etc. So, we converted this listing to a base kit without turbo, and if you select a turbo in the pull down menu, it becomes a complete kit. The pricing changes accordingly.
