DC2-HDSS kit features ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate and most popular street disc. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates use exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. ACT pressure plates have precision cover stampings to provide rigidity and consistency. ACT's Performance Street discs feature premium organic materials with high copper content for better heat transfer and steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability. These discs have reduced marcel for faster shift action to complement ACT pressure plates, with increased strength and reliability.

    what comes in the kit? how does this differ from the south bend clutch kit?

      Good question. Because your question is being asked on 4/16/18 and we just started offering these, we don't have much experience with the ACT clutch. However, we have been offering the South Bend since about 2016 and have very good success with the South Bend. On the other hand, ACT is a very good quality brand and we expect it to be a good clutch as well. Now, in regards to the clutches, they both have similar power level holding capacity, and pricing, and both convert the car from a dual mass flywheel setup to a single mass lighter flywheel.

    Does this clutch kit come with everything pictured? Like the slave cylinder and TOB and the crank to flywheel bolts?

      Yes, this clutch kit comes complete as shown. Outer pressure plate, disc, flywheel, slave cylinder. The bolts shown are for the outer pressure plate to the flywheel. This does not include flywheel to crankshaft bolts.

      The ACT Clutches for the Caliber SRT-4 use a ACT Streetlite flywheel which weighs less than the factory flywheel. Its essentially a lightweight aluminum flywheel.
