Niteshades is an easy to apply, spray on tint for turn signals, taillights and any other lenses on your car/truck you want to tint.

This product applies just like spray paint, and the more coats you spray on, the darker the light/lense will get. So, spray an even coat on the lense/light and if you want it darker, spray another coat on ! Its easy to do, and is a very inexpensive way of changing the look of your car/truck!

Modern Performance ships daily by Fedex, and we can have the Niteshades spray tint delivered right to your doorstep within a few days.

Price listed is for ONE spray can.

Below are a series of photos showing a stock taillight, then progressively coated with one coat of VHT Niteshades, two coats of Niteshades, three coats of Niteshades and lastly 4 coats of Niteshades.

Is this spray DOT approved and legal? I want to do 3 coats and I want to make sure I won't get pulled over for it being too dark. Thanks.

DOT does not approve products. Your local police/sheriff/constables are the ones that make the call. The rule of the road is that you have to have red rear taillights so if you deviate much and make it too dark, you could be pulled over. Consult with your local police force/sheriff if you are concerned.

Does this product peel off like plasti-dip if needed? Or can it be easily cleaned off?

There are a myriad of things that can remove it, the steps are typically all the same. Things I've heard and some I've personally used are brake cleaner, carb cleaner, & nail polish remover, though my best results have came from lacquer thinner. Just dampen a cloth with the cleaner of your choice, and scrub on to the tinted light, let it sit for a minute. With some scrubbing it should come right off.

If you're worried about the paint next to the headlight, tape it off before removing the tint.

This product does NOT peel off. If you wanted to remove this, its best to sand the light down, and wet sand with progressively higher sandpaper grades.

No, do not use this product on anything other than automotive turn signal lenses, or rear tail lenses.

Can you use this product on headlights ?

This product is not designed for headlights. It would be best for you to look at something like GTS smoked headlight covers perhaps.
