Mopar high torque clutch for the 95-05 Dodge Neon, 95-99 Non turbo Eclipse.

Have a Neon or Eclipse that's got a few bolt on parts, and need a new clutch ? This clutch can handle more abuse than the factory piece, and more power than the factory clutches. Its an OEM Mopar piece, so you know the quality is good!

Have more than 50-75 more hp than stock ? Then you should NOT buy this clutch, and consider a ClutchMasters clutch instead.

NOTE: The throw out bearing is NOT INCLUDED with the purchase price of the clutch.

  This is a modular clutch, meaning the clutch and flywheel are bolted together. You need to get a non modular clutch, or a 1995 Neon style clutch to use with your Fidanza lightweight flywheel.

This doesn't list if it is modular or non modular. Based on the previous question i would assume its modular but would like to make sure.

what makes this clutch stronger than factory? Materials used,stronger pressure plate, flywheel? Thanks

  This clutch kit is designed to hold more torque from the 2.4 engine, and so its designed with a stronger outer pressure plate, and disc.

Is this modular clutch set up lighter or heavier than the non modular lightweight flywheel and stage 1 clutch from Clutchmasters?

  The weight savings is due to the lightweight flywheel. Because this clutch uses a cast iron flywheel which weighs around 20lbs and the clutchmasters lightweight flywheel weighs 11lbs.

How much horsepower can this clutch hold?

  If you want a clutch that is quiet, smooth, and can handle up to about 30-40 more horsepower than stock, this will work well. If you are getting close to that upper range, you may just want to get a stronger Clutchmasters clutch to handle the power though.
