If you have a 2003-2005 Dodge SRT-4 and are having the following problems listed below, its very likely that you need to replace your IAC motor on your throttle body.

Does your car have a problem holding idle ?

When you come to a stop after driving, does your cars rpms fall, and nearly die ?

If you said yes, then its very likely that the IAC motor that controls the amount of air going to your motor when your throttle body is closed may need to be replaced.

Will the iac sensor ALS cause a stall from time to time ?

  We're not sure what ALS is, but we can tell you if your IAC motor is bad it will cause a poor idle, or the car will not be able to idle. Also, you'll notice when decelerating, coming up to a stop sign that your car may drop in rpms below where it should idle, and then surge up.

Is the IAC the same for the regular neon and srt-4 neons?

  No, the IAC is not the same between 2.0 00-05 Neons and the 03-05 Dodge SRT4.

Would this IAC valve would fit the pt cruiser gt turbo?

  No, this will not fit the PT/GT Cruiser. Its a very similar piece, however the connector is angled differently.

Would this be the solution for hanging idle when coming to a stop as well? Assuming no vacuum tube leaks.

  A hanging idle, or surging idle when you come to a stop can be caused by :
  1) Iac motor
  2) Iac wiring
  3) Throttle position sensor
  4) Throttle position sensor wiring
  5) Vacuum leak
  
  It could be any of those, the quickest thing for you to do would be to shake the wiring going into the IAC and TPS to see if that makes a difference, if it does, then replace the wiring. If it doesnt, then check for vacuum leaks or hissing noises when car is idling with hood open, and or replace iac/tps sensors.

Would a bad IAC cause you to lose boost?

  The Idle Air Control motor (IAC) has nothing to do with boost levels. This controls the idle of the engine when you idle. If this piece fails, your car will not idle properly, or it will stall out at idle.
