If you drive your Caliber SRT4 hard, or take it to the dragstrip, you know firsthand that the factory engine mounts are great for cruising the highway but are not up for the job of hard driving!

Wheel hopping, engine torquing is going to be very noticeable when you drive your car hard, ESPECIALLY if you increase the power!

We at Modern Performance through our brand MPx came up with a inexpensive solution!

We designed engine mount inserts (Six inserts for three engine mounts) that would plug into your factory engine mounts to fill the voids in the mount that allow the mount to flex. By eliminating the flexing, you have better control of your engine, so your car feels more solid, you have less to no wheel hop, and traction is actually improved!

We offer this engine mount set in a race version (black) and a street version (blue). The race version uses a 85A durometer which is very solid, will allow for very little engine flexing for the ultimate in traction and engine control. The street version uses a 70a durometer which is very soft, and will allow for more engine flexing, but will still have an improved feel over the factory engine mounts.

Please note that when your car is idling with the AC on youll notice more vibration with the race version. When driving though, youll notice very light vibration, however its very liveable. If your concerned about vibration, choose the street engine mounts.

    Will these inserts fit the caliber sxt with 1.8l 5spd?

      We designed these for the Caliber SRT4, and are not sure if it fits other Caliber engines/export models.

    Between the front solid engine mount you can buy and these inserts should one or the other be done or both. Does the inserts improve the car on top of having the solid mount ? Would having the inserts on top of the solid front mount make a it worth it to get both or is just one or the other enough?

      The engine mount inserts were developed first, and the Torque Solution mount afterwards. They could be used together but it seems redundant. You should choose one or the other really. Both will improve traction and eliminate wheel hop though.

    what about the rear engine mount is it mandaory to have one because even your Torque Solution Billet is for the front only not for rear so do we need one for rear or no

      This kit covers the driver and passenger mounts, and the front mount. It does not cover the transmission rear mount. With these installed, you will be well covered, and the engine will not move or flex.

    I want to purchase the Blue set for my daily driver. Will this set cause my interior to vibrate more than usual?

      These inserts will cause more vibration. The race inserts will cause more vibration than the street inserts. The vibration you feel will be mostly when the clutch is engaging, but you can also feel some at idle. When you are driving you wont notice it as much as idle/clutch engaging.
