Introducing the Lower Hard Pipe for the SRT-4. This piece replaces the factory rubber hose that goes from the hot side charge pipe to the inlet of the intercooler on the passenger side of the car.

The LHP comes with a high polished aluminum tube with beaded ends along with all necessary hose clamps and 4 ply silicone connectors for a perfect fit.

Dumb Question...What exactly is the Lower hard pipe and the upper hard pipe for?? Is it necessary to change these if your doing mods to your car or??....I'm going off of the bolt on upgrade plan on this page...

  The lower hard pipe is a 90 degree bend of piping that attaches onto the factory hard piping and connects to the intercooler on passenger side. The upper hard pipe goes in between the throttle body and the intercooler. The lower hard pipe replaces the soft rubber connector and the uppipe allows you to install a blow off valve and get rid of the factory rubber and plastic piping.

  This will work with any intercooler that utilizes factory style piping (Including the MPx front mount intercooler that you are asking about.)

  Yes, this pipe is 2.5 inch in diameter and if for some reason you have this pipe and need replacement couplers you'd get 2.5 inch couplers and clamps.

is this needed if i purchase the ets hot side turbo to intercooler pipe? or is that ets pipe all you need?

  The AGP Lower hard pipe is designed to work with the factory piping. The ETS replaces all of the piping from the turbo to the intercooler. You cannot use the Lower Hard Pipe with the ETS piping.

  Yes, this pipe has the identical same inlet and outlets as the factory piping except its not squished, soft rubber.
