Model Number: 601303

We offer these Prothane shorter end links for those of you who have lowered your car.

When you lower your vehicle, you decrease the suspension travel of the car, and therefore put additional stress on your factory rear swaybar. This shorter end link helps to compensate for your decreased suspension travel, and helps prevent a broken swaybar, or broken factory swaybar end link.

This piece is one and quarter inches shorter, and will work great for cars lowered 1-2 inches.

Fits:

  • 00-05 Dodge/Plymouth Neon
  • 03-05 Dodge SRT-4
  • $23.99

Do you guys sell these for the front sway bar?
      1 Answer
      • customer service rep

We have not found that the front endlinks need to be replaced, its only the rear that are really way too long after the 00-05 Neon/SRT4 is lowered.

What if i lower my suspension 2.5 to 3 inches?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

Your swaybar will still work no matter how much you lower your car. It will just change the angle of the bar in relation to the chassis. You could source your own shorter end links if you wish, but these are all that we offer.

I was wondering if this was for the rear or the front of the car cuz I have the hotchiks sway bars an they look different
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

We use these for the rear of the 00-05 Neon and SRT-4. Yes, of course Hotchkis is different because they use their own hardware.
    • Jerry
Do these work with the hotchkis sway bar?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

No these do not. These endlinks are straight, whereas the Hotchkis changed the design of their bars so that they have one 90 degree, and one straight connection for the endlink. If you need a new Hotchkis endlink, then you should contact Hotchkis directly for replacement. This works with all stock bars, and other sway bars that have the same style mounting as OEM.

Will these shorter end links work with the progress rear swaybar?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

These shorter end links work with any 00-05 regular Neon and all 03-05 SRT-4's. As long as you have a swaybar made for those vehicles, this shorter endlink will work fine.
    • Juan
Will these work even if the car isn't lowered?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

No. These should only be used with lowered cars. Prothane offers a stock length endlink, but we dont offer it.

      • Customer Service Rep

        Sure.

I have KW coil overs but I don't know exactly how much lower car is from stock. Is there a way to measure ride height to determine which set I need or do I have to buy both and return other set?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

As of 2023 we only offer shorter endlinks from Prothane. If your car is lowered at all, then use the shorter endlinks. If your Neon is one of the 7 stock suspension Neons left on the planet, then find stock length endlinks elsewhere.
