With this does it come with different springs I have a tune to increase boost and stock wastegate actuator opens to early and makes boost cut in and out

Turbosmart makes two wastegate actuators for the 1.4 Turbo with two different spring pressures : 7 psi and 10 psi. You use the 7 psi for stock boost levels and or if you do not have a tune, but want improved build up of boost. You can use the 10 psi style if you have a aftermarket tune that can accomodate the higher psi spring for 5+ psi over stock boost levels on the factory turbo.

So I'm wanting this with the upgraded spring. The only dilemma I notice is if I have the upgraded spring and it gets more boost than the diverter valve wants to hold, is it gonna surge? Note I do not have a tune. Also would buying the forge vented blowoff valve to replace the oem diverter valve help with the surge issue?

So the factory wastegate is roughly a 7lb spring. If you have no tune on your car, then its best to install the 7lb spring because if the ecu see's more boost than it wants, it will open the diverter valve to release the pressure. If you have a strong wastegate that commands more boost and the ecu wants less, there will be a constant struggle between the wastegate and ecu for different boost levels. So, stick to 7lb if you have a factory ecu and no tune. If you have some sort of tune then you can use the 10lb spring.
