  Cut off old connector wiring a few inches away from the connector. Solder in new one and use heat shrink tubing to seal the connection.

Will this part fix code p0622? I have already replaced altenator and this is next on my list

  Alternator issues are generally caused by 1) alternator failure, 2) fusible link wiring between the alternator and battery 3) connections to alternator like this. You really need to use a multimeter to test the output of the alternator and do some troubleshooting.
