If you are rebuilding your Neon SRT-4/PT Cruiser Turbo, or doing general maintenance, one area that gets overlooked often are the old rubber hoses on the back side of the engine.

Due to the constant heat and oil leaks these rubber hoses are exposed to underneath the turbo, they should be replaced every 3-5 years. The only option for replacing these hoses was buying the whole steel line assembly with rubber hoses from Mopar at a cost of over $200 retail. Well, the steel lines do not wear out, so you can replace the rubber hoses with our 3 ply silicone hoses. These are made in the same shape and size as the factory hoses so they are a direct fit to replace the factory rubber pieces.

These silicone hoses are made from 3 ply silicone, meaning it has 4 layers of silicone and 3 layers of reinforcement. It is very strong and can withstand over 300 degrees and 80+ psi.

This kit comes with the supply hose, lower return hose, upper return hose, and 6 clamps.

This below only applies to early 2003 Neon SRT-4's and 2003 Chrysler PT/GT Cruisers.
Note: Most 2003 Neon SRT-4's and 2003 Chrysler PT/GT Cruisers use a earlier oil cooler with smaller hose inlet/outlet. These had a 1/2 inch inlet and outlet whereas the 2004-2005 Neon SRT-4/2004-2010 PT Cruiser Turbos use a larger 5/8 (.62) inlet and outlet hoses. Mopar has discontinued the early 2003 style oil cooler and so if you have a earlier 2003 oil cooler with the ½ inch hoses, you will not be able to use these hoses, its best for you to purchase a new Mopar oil cooler with the larger fittings to use with our hoses.

Correct, very early 2003 PT Cruiser turbos and GT cruisers have the smaller size piping coming off of the oil coolers and this kit is not compatible. Some early 2003 SRT-4's may also have the smaller oil cooler piping. Mopar discontinued the smaller oil cooler and superceded everything over to the larger oil cooler port design so its probably best to convert to the larger size if you have a 2003 with the smaller nipple oil cooler.
