This is because the factory PCM expects input from a factory 2 bar pressure sensor, not a 3 Bar or 4 Bar sensor. In order to accommodate the angle of this new sensor, an aluminum adapter is used to allow the sensor to be mounted to the 03-05 Neon SRT-4 intake manifold.
