    Are the standard sized valves also stainless? Or just the oversized?

      Yes, both are stainless.

    I'm building my engine. Are these necessary if I'm doing upgraded pistons and cams? The head will be ported as well.

      Valves control the flow of air into the motor. If you install larger valves, you get more flow. Its not necessary with a more mild build, but if you are installing cams, or have installed a larger turbo, this is a really good part to install.
