The Clutch Masters Stage III Clutch with Aluminum Flywheel replaces the 40 lb OEM dual mass unit with a much lighter 26 lb aluminum unit! Throttle response is greatly improved along with more holding power! This is a great street clutch with good daily driving capacity.

    • For more holding power upgrade to the Stage IV! This is still a streetable clutch, but is more geared toward race duty. You will have less clutch slip than with the Stage III.

    • Note: While the stock dual mass system is not good performance wise, it does serve to eliminate some noise and chatter at idle. Removing the extra weight will leave the engine much more free to rev up quickly but while idling with the clutch disengaged you will experience noise. Once the clutch is depressed or the vehicle is moving the sound will go away.

    This clutch kit does NOT include a new slave cylinder. You should purchase a new slave cylinder when installing a new clutch.

      Hello my questio is im planning on buying later on the 2.8 turbo kit from u guys but i do want to buy the clutch kit in january so thoes it matter wich one of the clutch kit i buy if im going to buy 2.8 turbo kit later can both be able to handle the turbo kit and what would be the difference in daily drive ? And those the clutch kit include the new clutch ? Thank u for the help

        Buy a clutch that will handle the power you will have. So, you may want to consider the stage 4 as it can handle higher horsepower outputs.

        Stage 3 can handle about 430 lbs of torque. Stage 4 can handle about 525 lbs of torque.

        Stage 3 is good for up to about 380-400 horsepower, and stage 4 is good up until about 460 horsepower.

        We're not sure why it matters, but its 11 inches in outside diameter.

        No, as of 2021, there are no clutches that come with a slave cylinder. The slave cylinder is sold separately.
