These spark plugs are the most popular, and best spark plug available for the Dodge SRT-4/PT Turbo. Why? Well, they have excellent heat durability, help provide a consistent spark that will help you have a smoother idle, eliminate any stumbling, and maximize power!

  • Stock heat range- Stock heat range is for cars that are BONE stock with no increase in boost.
  • 1 Step Colder- Is for 90% of SRT-4 /PT Turbo drivers out there, who have increased the boost with a good number of bolt on mods.
  • 2 Steps Colder- For big turbo, big turbo engines only, in the 450+hp range.

    • These plugs need to be gapped to match your power levels. If you are at stock boost levels, then you will need to gap to roughly .035-.038 thousandths. If you have increased boost levels and are making 275-350 horsepower you should adjust the gap to .030-.033 thousandths. If you are making 350-450 horsepower we recommend .028 thousandths. The more boost you have, the lower the gap.

      What should one step colder be gapped at? Im running a Mopar stage 3 with turbo toys Tial mecanical wastegate and my PSI spikes around 24.5

        Low 30's, we'd recommend anywhere from 28-33 for gap for that level of boost.

        If you have less than 15 psi of boost, stock heat range. If you have 15-22 psi of boost with stock turbo, 1 range colder plugs.

        Your gap is determined by 1) turbo and 2) boost. You never mentioned boost level so its difficult to answer your question. If you are 14-16 psi then you should be about 40 thousandths. If you are 17-20 then you should be closer to 35 thousandths.

        These do not come pre-gapped, you need to gap them yourself based on your cars turbo/boost pressure.

        At 25 psi, you should be in very low 30's or high 20 thousandths.

        Most stock turbo cars should be in the .034-.040 range. The more boost, the lower the gap. Close to 20 psi, should be somewhere between .034-.036.

        If you have not increased boost, you should go with stock heat range. If you increase boost, then you get one range colder.

      I usually run the normal heat range, but I run around 20-24 boost,and was curious if I should go to 1 step colder, and if so what gap? I have a big intercooler, stage 2 injectors , adjustable waste gate, 3 bar map and tip, boomba fuel rail, full MPx exhaust - down pipe, injen intake. Fully built/upgraded Cooling system. (built trans but thats unrelated)

        You never mentioned which turbo you have, so we will assume stock turbo. If that is the case, you should only use one range colder plugs. If you have increased boost levels and are making 275-350 horsepower you should adjust the gap to .030-.033 thousandths
