Do you want a simple bolt on piece that will SIGNIFICANTLY improve your throttle response, and give your 03-05 SRT4 another 8-10 horsepower? If so, read further!

This throttle body makes more power, and improves acceleration because of the larger throttle plate and throttle bore that allows more air to pass than the factory throttle body.
The size of the factory throttle body is 55mm and it necks down to 52mm, whereas the MPx throttle body has a 62mm bore.

The MPX throttle body and spacer was made from scratch out of CNC machined aluminum, and is anodized with a special hardcoat for resistance to corrosion and oxidation.

Your stock sensors will attach onto the throttle body, and the throttle body and spacer piece mount directly to your intake manifold.
Theres NO cutting, or modification to your intake manifold, or air intake system needed. We also provide installation isntructions to help you install this onto your car.

Unit comes complete with gasket to be used in between the spacer and the throttle body, as well as bolts to attach it to the intake manifold.

Please note: if you have a stock ecu tune, we recommend you not install this. This throttle body works best with aftermarket tunes such as the Mopar stage 1, stage 2, stage 3, Diablosport tunes, and other tunes, basically ANYTHING except the stock ecu flash. This is because the stock pcm flash is not designed for a larger throttle body and can therefore have a hanging idle when decelerating. Your car will still run and idle fine if you install this with a stock pcm flash but could have a high idle when coasting to stop lights, etc.

  No, these are quite a bit different, and they are not interchangeable with the 00-05 Neon.

Hello, was just wondering if the mpx 62mm throttle body will work on the 2005 pt cruiser turbo?

  No, this will not work on a PT Cruiser for the following reasons:
  1) The PT throttle cam rotates counter clockwise, this throttle body rotates clockwise
  2) This has a spacer, the PT does not

  Its 62mm at the inlet, and 59mm at the outlet. It slightly tapers, because the inlet to the intake manifold is 59mm inlet size.

Would the stock charge pipe fit hose into this throttle body fine?

  Its a very tight fit with the factory uppipe, its really best to use the AGP uppipe with this throttle body because it has silicone couplers which are more pliable than the factory rubber piping.

  As of 11/29/2016, we do not sell the spacer separately. This is because when we make this throttle body we make them in equal batches of throttle bodies and spacers and do not have spares.

Is this kit complete, or do I need to purchase any other gaskets? Also, will this work fine with an aftermarket ecu flash like the Syked tune?. I also have the JMB upper/lower hard pipes and mopar cai.

  There are two gaskets needed to install this, and both are included. The throttle body to spacer gasket, and the spacer o ring. So, nothing else is needed on your part.
  
  This will work fantastic with the Syked tune and all other pcm flashes like the Mopar staged tunes, Diablosport, SCT, etc. It will work with a stock pcm, but its best to use this with aftermarket performance pcm flashes like mentioned above.
  
  Because the throttle body has a larger outer diameter, its best to use this with an aftermarket upper pressure pipe with silicone coupler. Silicone couplers can expand better than the rigid factory rubber piping and its extremely difficult to put this on with the oem rubber pressure pipe.

I have the 62mm throttle body and it's leaking from the shaft seals. Do you have replacement parts for that?

  We have seen some high mileage 62mm throttle bodies that had wear around the shaft/throttle body, that were caused by thousands of opening/closings of the tb. It would actually wear the aluminum, and cause a vacuum leak. If you have an older throttle body and have a vacuum leak from the tb, its important to grab the throttle linkage, and move the throttle blade side to side to see if there is wear. If you don't have wear, and do just need seals, please contact us by email to discuss further.

If I remove the throttle body will I have to replay both gaskets everytime I remove it ?

  The rubber o ring on the manifold can generally be reused multiple times. The paper gasket between the spacer and the throttle body generally cannot be reused and should be replaced.

What's the hex screw for on the top of the throttle body?

  During the machining process of this throttle body, a hole needs to be drilled to cut the passages for the IAC. After its cut, its threaded and sealed off with the plug as its not used any longer.

  (Smog testing only applies to people living in California). This will not affect the emissions output of the car, however, the strict carb testing process also involves a visual check and this shiny silver throttle body will definitely not look stock. Perhaps you could paint it black to make it not look so obviously a non factory part?

  This throttle body will work on a bone stock SRT4, or one that has a larger turbo. Its perfect for anyone that wants improved throttle response and more power.
