Why don't they fit on the 00-02 Neons, the lights are the same except they don't have the attached indicators?

  The shape of the headlight is similar, however, the 03-05 headlights have a lip about 1 inch from the perimeter of the headlight, whereas the 00-02 Neon headlights do not. So, if you install eyelids designed for a SRT-4 onto a 00-02 the fitment will not be perfect. You'll have a gap between the eyelid and headlight at the outer edge.
